Remarks

Positive remarks are good placements and opportunities and cheap courses Negative remarks are 1. Must have 75% for internals and exertnals...fully stricted for that 2.saturday can be working 3. No ac and lift in the campus 4. Suffocation in class in summer

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

I thought they don't too much planning for the courses...they don't have perfect time table and schedule Secondly, exam is of 3hrs and have paper contains of 4 sections, 8 question out of which 4 is should be attemptef

Placement Experience

3.5

Well according to the stats given by University there will plenty of placement and opportunities for the students cause there is lot of reputated company come like google,fb,amazon etc...so in this field of placements Chandigarh University is good enough Yes, college provide internship to every student whenever its possible...I am 1st year student so this summer we summer training and every students can get chance for interships in future...cu also conduct recently a initiative in which student can represent there ideas to big companies speaker if they like they can hire and give internship

College Events

3.5

Well whenever possible cu organise events for the students in the college... Recently cu 5 days cultural events organised where students enjoyed that too much as their is live concerts, idiom night, dance , signing Every month there should be an tashan night where bollywood stars come for promotion and singers too So there is lot of fun out there in live concert

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure everone is different so my course is cse so my fee structure is Semester fee- Rs.79500 Exam fee - Rs1500 Red cross fund - Rs 300 So every semester there is exam nd security fee and also for the funding So, I thought the fee for engineering is not expensive if we compare to other private colleges which have decent placements

Fees and Financial Aid

If we talk about scholarship 1. They give you scholarship upto 50% if you have scored above 85% in 12th 2. If you scored 50% in their entrance exam .... scholarships upto 10% 3. If you rank under 50k in national level exam like Jee Mains or Advance scholarship is upto 100%

Campus Life

1.5

Extracurricular activities, labs, sports are very good ... All the labs have all equipment and computer which require for every students...there is all the experiments are done in the labs Time to time extracurricular activities and sports tournaments are held in which student can take part

Hostel Facilities

4

Well hstem infrastructure and facilities are bad...there is no lift in hostel, poor wifi speed and have data limit upto 1gb per day for every student and you can't acess all website through their wifi and no nighouts ,specially for girls...girls can't go outside after 7pm

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students are very helpful for us ...they organise many tech events for the freshers whenever possible...But the interaction b/w seniors and juniors is not good...all the students are not connect with seniors

Faculty

3

Teaching faculty is good but all the faculty like management they didn't help the students too much...they will you every time when you didn't wear your id card Now if we talk about hostel facility and the management its not good... problems are not solved every time

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

Placement Experience:

Students generally become eligible for placement from 7th semester, with numerous major companies like wipro, cognizant and various tech startups visit the campus with various offers. The university sees a high percentage of students getting placed. The package are widely depending on various skill and codes. Furthermore while the highest package looks impressive on paper, the avg package remains modest for the majority of the batch. My personal plans after getting the degree focus on exploring independent entrepreneurial ventures rather than tradition corporate placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
