Likes

The campus is too beautiful I find really a soothing nature here..
The faculty who teaches us is too good because they look after every student not only the topper ones
The decorum in the hostel because there is no ragging in the hostel senior junior are so Frankly

Dislikes

Over workload.. though it is not negative but as a student we don't like it
The mess food provided by hostel I don't like it at all
Restrictions in the whole college and hostel

Course Curriculum Overview

The SME come from renowned companies came to our university conduct special classes for the industry exposure..the practical implementation is become easy because of our so unique IBM lab ...the exams are quite difficult need to improve on the question paper ..

IBM provide projects to work on students students work on them and because of it many students get internship in the second year like us based company.. research companies.students work on real life problems as it is a part of our most exclusive open living Lab of ibm that is recently opened

Placement Experience

Students get job at their 6th sem . companies like IBM,Tata group,Infosys,maruti suzuki come here students get min 5lakh to max 15lakhs per annum job . Students over 8 CGPA get the chance to give interview and secure their job

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees for the tution is 150000 and the hostel fees start from RS.80000 .. student can apply for loan ...I am studying through a loan which college provided me as I belong from a middle class family.and I need to pay it after my placement so there is a placement gurranty u will get in this University whereas another universities in india will not provide it .u will get scholarship based on ur merit..

Campus Life

There are a huge number of fests and clubs are there in our university they conduct technical fest cultural fest ...all books are available in library and the lab is too good it is open 24×7 for students

Hostel Facilities

The rooms are not big and the food provided by hostel the worst part of our university I think they should improve on it ..it is a residential course so u need to stay on hostel ..there are hostel room availability like non AC room with common washroom available and there is Ac rooms with attached washroom is available

Admission

To get admission here u need to have minimum 70% in ur 12th board ..and u need to pass a exam conducted by IBM . Also u need pass a test that will show how effective your communication skills is ...it is unique over other universities because the anchor partner of the university is IBM . It is the first skill based university that provide you pay after placement where other universities will not provide any gurranty..

Faculty

If I talk about faculties some of them are best some of them are worst ..but most of the teachers are so good that we have shared a good bond with them they guide us like mentor ...behind 25 students there is a personal mentor who take care of the each 25 students it is unique in our university..the teacher I like most is soniya mam she is statistics teacher she teaches us without getting bored and make us able to solve difficult sums ...not only soniya mam there are so many teachers are my fvrt ...the exam structure if I talk about that is conducted by University...2 mid sem and final sem exam ...2 mid sem 25 marks each and end sem is of 50 marks...the 2 mid sem marks is calculated average for the internal...the internal is of 50 marks and the external is of 50 marks

Likes

The infrastructure is great with state of the art labs and equipment
The library is really nice place to study
Lots of hangout spots in and around campus

Dislikes

Less opportunities for core branches as less core companies visit campus
75 percent attendance policy for classes
Very high fees compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

An honest look at campus

Likes

The university boasts an excellent, massive campus infrastructure with great amenities and highly diverse student crowd provides great cultural exposure
While the engineering batches naturally leans towards more boys (around 1:3 girl to boy ratio)
Availability off dedicated campus mentorship programming and technical club provided a great platform.

Dislikes

The campus administration enforced incredibly strict security and daily restrictions which feel a little overwhelmed
The total no of students in a course like cse is massive. So the competition for the high tier placement is very intense.
If we need any information or some help from the administration they will make it lag and go to that window this window and we will not get the information ww required

Placement Experience:

Students generally become eligible for placement from 7th semester, with numerous major companies like wipro,cognizant and various tech startups visit the campus with various offers. The university sees a high percentage of students getting placed.The package are widely depending on various skill and codes. Furthermore while the highest package looks impressive on paper, the avg package remains modest for the majority of the batch. My personal plans after getting the degree focus on exploring independent entrepreneurial ventures rather than tradition corporate placement.

LPU's REVIEW WITH HONESTY AND CREDIBILITY

Likes

The Scholarship benefit is good when compared to other universities the fee is also not very huge.The Infrastructure of the campus was vast and there arelots of stall to purchase food items etc
There is a big mall through which You can get necessary items .In every hostel you will have departmental stores
The faculty was highly qualified. The Placements opportunities are also good The average was offered was 5-6 LPA.The Lpu newly Launched Education Revolution is very good for students

Dislikes

The mandatory 75% attendance policy for every subject.If you not maintain you will debar from End term examinations which is not all good
The Roads are not that much good .The roads are made of parking tiles instead of Thar
The distance between hostels and main gates are nearly 1.5 -2 km which not at all good .but there e-rickshaw they charge 15 rupees per person to drop from hostel to main gate

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course cirriculum changes every year by rapid changes happening due to AI The University has also launched a new school called School of AI and emerging technologies.from this every year syllabus changesand exams pattern changes .the difficulty of exams is increasing day by day.

The environment of the college is so nice, helpful staff, AC labs for CS deptt.
Canteen and water facilities and park in both deptts
Skilled professional educators and tutors

Dislikes

Distance of travelling coz for me its too much far
Nothing as of now everything was good enough

Placement Experience:

- Limited campus opportunities were available, and most students become eligible from the final year. - The average package was around 2-5 LPA. - after my degree my plan is to improve my employability my strengthening my technical skill in my domain

From 7th sem students become eligible for campus placements and tata or Infosys companies visited and about 60 to 70 percent students were placed and my plans after getting the degree is to opt for higher studies doing mtech from iit

Good infrastructure, campus and faculty. Have to improve placements and industrial visits.

Likes

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

The sports and the various facilities that they provide for relaxing
The Library that remains open till 10-11 at night for those who wish to study till late
Great mentors and very helpful teachers who are always willing to help

Dislikes

The hectic schedule and curriculum that the students have to follow.
The lack of certain facilities that would help the students improve thoer personalities
Too much strictness and restrictions with everything that someone wishes to do

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum

All About LTSU

I preferred this university due to its course structure of 3+1 year which is 3 year of study and one year of internship. Also the strength of students in this university is not very much as its a new university and they don't spend much on their publicity the students who have come here is only from mouth to mouth publicity and few are through social media . Before I got to know about this university I also applied for other universities but when I got to know about this university then I cancelled my applications from other universities.
