Remarks

No not at all bt for studying in this university you had to be hardworking because they can call you to college even on Sunday and you had to come definitely because there is a attendance criteria for 75%

We have 2 mst and 1final exam the mst is of 12 marks amd external final exam is of 60 marks and rest all depends upon assignment projects and all also 2marks for attendance above 90% all is divided into two parts internal and external

Endless opportunities are provided by the college for students regarding internship and placements amd also if someone want to study abroad for semester exchange the university will help you on every point and also they help you to get some scholarship

College Events

Their are so many events they conduct for the overall development of students like tech invent and cufest and many events they call some bollywood actor after every exams for the refreshment of the students and very these all are very interesting

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee is some what more here i think and we had to pay the free of 2nd semester in the end of 1st semester this process goes on they collect fee in advance bt they are good in fee if someone is unable to pay the fee in last date they can easily get extension for fee

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes they will totally help you to get loans we had two banks inside our university campus they are very supporting in these all things and also give you many suggestions what to do or not accordingly and some loan letter they will provide you just need to go with this to your bank

Campus Life

All are good here university have many activities for those who are interested in spots and different coaches are available and also a sports department where you can get sports thing like ba t ball etc

Hostel Facilities

Hostel are not so good they are ok at the price bt food is the worst part here i was in hostel for one year then i left the hostel and living a very good life in pg all thing is good and also at reasonable price

External Expense: Rs.7000 - Rs.10000

Alumni/Alumna

Yes they are helpful and its a anti ragging campus so everyone will talk to you woth respect and no one will disturb you is someone does you can complain to anti ragging department which is made separate for this type of issues

An honest look at campus

Placement Experience:

Students generally become eligible for placement from 7th semester, with numerous major companies like wipro,cognizant and various tech startups visit the campus with various offers. The university sees a high percentage of students getting placed.The package are widely depending on various skill and codes. Furthermore while the highest package looks impressive on paper, the avg package remains modest for the majority of the batch. My personal plans after getting the degree focus on exploring independent entrepreneurial ventures rather than tradition corporate placement.

SLIET longowal has well structured curriculum as per new education policy with well structured labs. to prepare for real world, college provide funds for startup and also motivate students to gain industry exposure. Many improvements can be done in curriculum like integration of cutting edge technologies, smart board, digital labs. There are three exams per semester two minors which take place in month of august and september and major or end sem exam in month of october, the timing of exam was from 1 pm to 4 pm. the difficulty level of exam is moderate

Placements in lovely professional university is decent and dont know much about it as i am in 1st year only but there were mandatory Placement classes for all which you need to select in 1st year only for which you need to pay extra 20k for the classes.

Good staff are very nice and supportive nature. There are not any faculty problem. Functions are organized in a very large scale which is very good. Ragging are strictly banned in college which is very good for fresher students. BAD: lack of equipment and machines in labs. Lack of practical knowledge for students.

Chandigarh University - My experience from fees to social life

I gave cucet but can't find the college that have cse in their colleges. That time my father was recently posted in chandigarh as chandigarh university was very close to me and the transport is also easy and I don't have to pay the hostel fees and I can be a day scholar also so I choosed this college as it provide a good network of peoples. The admission process was to simple ,I just applied for their entrance online exam cucet and booked a slot gave online test of 100 mcq from the selected domain and after that I got scholarship and to confirm my seat I have to pay 10000 part of my semester fees (that 10000 was from my semester fees) and after doing online formalities and upload document. I got a call that you can come to university and attend classes. The admission process of too simple so I never taught of choosing other college at that time....Read More

An honest and brutal review for paramedical College
