- Our campus has ffcs which stands for fully flexible credit system through which we can design our own degree
- Our campus is completely ragging free and anything of such may lead him to suspension of 1 semester
- The boys to girls ratio is almost 1:1 in our campus
Dislikes
- Campus is so far from any near town which makes it difficult to reach campus
- Campus usually starts late for first year students when compared to other vit campuses and to cover this holidays are reduced and the syllabus is rushed in the first yeat
Course Curriculum Overview
Computer Science and business system is a course designed by tcs and is very good as it only has subject which is necessary to crack a corporate job in like companies like Microsoft tcs infosys and so on We have a exam almost a frequency of 1 month and the difficulty is based on favulty
Internships Opportunities
There are many companies that visited vit ap few note worthy of them are Microsoft, accenture, move works, etc we have two categories of internships dream and super dream this year there are almost 30 students in super dream internship this year highest package stands around 44 lakhs
Placement Experience
If no campus placement is offered we can pursue mba and since this a computer course along side buisness we can even get into banking stuff of accounting computer science and busines system open doors for vast opportunities
Fees and Financial Aid
I pay 2lakh per year which is category 1 and there are also 4 other categories whose fees vary as Cat 2-3lakhs Cat 3-4lakhs Cat 4-4.5 lakhs Cat 5 -5lakhs There are reservations for students of star program who are selected on the basis of thier inter marks but admission through star program is close to impossible
Campus Life
We at vit ap have so many evenra going on we have a event every Saturday conducted by different clubs of our university we also have events on any special days we have 2 big events every year one is a technical fest called vtapp other cultural called vitopia
Admission
I wrote many other exams i secured a seat in few nita but not in a subject related to computer I also thought of joining kl university but chose vit instead becuase vit has students from all over india and helps us build connection
Faculty
Faculty to student ratio in vit ap is really good as we are assigned a faculty as mentor for every 25 students Usually a semester has 2 cat exams which stands for continuous assessment test having 15 mark weightage each and a fat final assessment test for 40 marks and the rest 30 is our assignment and quiz marks which are conducted in class Number of student failing is completely dependent on your faculty in few faculty subject none fail and few faculty subject more than half of the class fail If we fail a exam we have to pay a fee of 6k per subject and write that subject during a special semester called long summer during our summer vacation
Night Life
We have free gyms in hostel open all the time and a paid gym which we have book slots prior and we will be allowed only during that slot hostels are open till 10 pm famous hangout spots in our campus are maggi hotspot, food street, rock plaza
