Course Curriculum Overview

5

I loved the course as I wanted to pursue it since I studied it in class 12 as my major course. It is so interesting as it makes one understand about a person's perspective and behaviour. The teaching methods are nothing as mostly teachers don't teach but when they teach they teach it will full deidcation and gives proper notes.

Internships Opportunities

2

There was no companies for internship . We had to choose internship from our own and the time frame was so less mmaking it difficult. It was also compulsory as are in our fifth semester so internship is important as it holds grades.

Placement Experience

1

There are placements in the Campus. I gave the interview for College Dekho as an admission counselor and cleared the first round of the interview but it had 2 or 3 more steps for the final round. I have to everytime go and take the follow ups so the campus placements is also not great.

Fees and Financial Aid

65000 was paid for the first semester. 50000 was paid for the second semester. 60000 was paid for the third semester. 55000 was paid for the fourth semester. 60000 is paid for the current fifth semester. 60000 is to be paid for the sixth semester. all this is the tuition fees. 900 was charged as the prospectus fees. the college changes fees according to their comfort without any information or prior notice. there is 100% schoarship on a certain 12th marks and if you score above 90% in CUET

Campus Life

2

I would say as a student only the infrastructure is great, rest the environment is not good as everyday there as fights creating an unsafe environment sometimes. Everything is made up. The faculty only is good in nature understanding but they don't teach may times.

Admission

I had no option but to choose this college because in 2022 CUET was happening for the first time so the device had a lot of lot of glitches due to which I had to give Cuet 3 times in different centres given by the UGC. Which made me loose the opportunity to go in DU and I had lost a lot of time.

Faculty

3

The teaccher student ratio is 89:1 and teachers only focus on the front benchers making the children at the back feel neglected. the best facutly member is Ms.Aahana Saha who is the UG Programme Coordinator. even after being so busy she understand's everyones perspective and take it to action.

Interview Experience

3

I only went through a personal interview for the admission and submitted the CUET documents for schoarship. I was asked subjectrelated basic questions as they wanted to understand a basic outline of my knowledge.

Night Life

2

cafeteria is good but boys always come up and fight making a scene in the cafeteria. There is Cafe Coffee Day and Nescafe also in the cafeteria. I have not opted forhostel so I am not aware about the nightlife.

Other Applied Colleges

Placement Experience:

I feel pretty secure about my career because our training opens door that normal degrees just can't match. Our seniors land roles as risk analysts and foreign policy researchers, even secruing great spots at top think tanks right after graduation. Some even interned at Niiti Consulting, and others got into ShowTime Consulting and Stimuler. Seeing people land roles at Lead Tech and the BCG Graduate Apprenticeship Program gives me massive confidence for placements.

Placement Experience:

I feel so relieved my seniors because our job placements had so much variety. I love that JSPC doesn't just box us into one specific career path. I saw huge consulting firms like PwC UK and BCG hiring right next to tech names like Zomato, OneBanc, and Kanerika. I also noticed great roles at places like Bal Raksha Bharat and Mom's Belief for anyone wanting to do advocacy, psychology, or therapy. I honestly feel like my career can go anywhere now.

Placement Experience:

At JGU, the Office of Career Services puts a lot of effort into preparing us for the competitive industry in digital media, podcasts, investigative reporting, multimedia storytelling, and data journalism. We have an exceptional alumni network with students who have graduated from our college and become political reports at The Hindu or media consultants for the UAE-India council, or even bagged the role of anchors at NewX and ET TV. The intense training that we get makes us ready for the industry. The institution helps us a great deal in shaping our resumes.

Placement Experience:

Thinking about life after graduation used to completely stress me out, but the office of Career Services here really takes the pressure off. They work right alongside us from the 1st year to fix up our resumes, practice interviews, and figure out what we actually want to do. Whether you want to jump straight into corporate communications, digital media, creative writing, or head off to a great international university for your master's, the support here gives you a massive head start. Seeing my seniors land great roles makes me feel so much better about my own future.
