Course Curriculum Overview

I feel this course moderate. I chose this course as I like to study english & know more about the history of English. This course will help me to communicate more easily & confidently in the real-world. The teaching method should be more interesting which will make us engage in our course. The exam should have time in between & there should be only one in a day as it will help us to prepare more nicely for the subjects.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 90000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are summer internship opportunities. There are pre- placement internship which is held in last semester of our course. The people who live far away can do internship on there own. LLP , Eduversity , Textbook Teachers are some companies which provide internship to our students.There are many opportunities in media houses, publishing firms, digital platforms, Pr agencies and NGOs.

Placement Experience

The students get eligible for placement in last 2 year. Planet Spark, Eduversity , Textbook Teachers (UK) are some of the companies which come for placement in our college for BA english Hons. The average Package is 400000. Almost 80% of the students got placements .My plan after getting my degree is following my passion of kathak dance

Fees and Financial Aid

The year-wise fee i pay is 90000rs. The transportation fees is 56000 yearly The security fees is Rs 15000 which is completely refundable & no extra charges are there. I got no scholarship as it is based on 12th class merit based.

Campus Life

There are many event which happen in our college. The college have Central library which have many books. The clubs are also very entertaining & we can enroll in as many clubs we wish. Sports complex is also very nice & spacious.

Admission

I applied to DU & Indraprastha University (IPU). I got confirmation from IPU but it was faridabad from my place & did not wanted hostel. I chose this collage because of the affordable fees than other colleges in gurgaon & the faculty of this college are very nice. The admission can be done both online & offline. The admission happens based on the 12th class merit.

Faculty

The faculty is very helpful & polite. They are always available to help. They are all well-qualified. Abhilasha mam - she is very nice & help us in all ways apart from her subject. Dhyuti Sachdev - I am not able to understand what she teach. There 3 exams in total. Exams are of moderate level. Few students fail to clear the exam.

Night Life

There is gym , cafeteria, library & public area. The hostel is closed after 9:30 for the safety of the students. The security of this campus is also very nice the campus is very strict. Since I am first year i am not aware of these things much. There are IT hubs , restaurant , malls.

The classes are wellcleaned and having a good evn
The sports complex is a good and having regular sports

Dislikes

The security fir the students very poor faculty
Food is very bad for deja is the for good food

Placement Experience:

General starts from the 6th semester. Students become egligible to participate in placement activities by the college and recruiting companies. Students get opportunities to improve their employability skills communication skills and mock interviews.

Correction review for English department

Likes

The sports complex in our college is a great place for the students to stay active and healthy.
The food complex in our college is a wonderful place
Our teachers are knowledgeable, supportive and always encourage us to learn .

Dislikes

The security for students is very weak parents scared from this
The quality of drinking water is very bad
The furniture of class is also very weak

Placement Experience:

From 6 semester students become eligible for campus placement Name of the companies we visited & no offers made is googel , Amazon , hero . The highest and average package as per company and profiles is 400000 to 500000 Percentage of students getting placemtes is 80% My plans after getting the degree for make a content creation.

Review of English .

Likes

The campus is very beautiful and it is very well maintained .
The faculty provides good infrastructure .
Scholarship are available for deserving students based on merit .

Dislikes

All types of activities are not required as per the interest of the students .
In winter the timmings are not good . It is not appropriate for students .
There is no proper books from where we can study from .

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for internships from last year of the degree . PlantsSpark Ltd,Textbook Teachers (UK),Eduiniversity are some companies . Highest average package is for about 4 lakhs . Those who secures 80 percent are getting placements . I want to do a job in future so I opt for this course .

My genuine review about amity university

Likes

The classes are wellcleaned and having a good environment in all over campus
The sports complex is good and having regular sports activities
The faculty is very good and having very good experience of teaching

Dislikes

The food in the mess and the trucks are very bad and not worth it
The students are not united and having hated towars other
Activites regarding sports are very less for entertainment purpose

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester the students are eligible for the placement. There is the project based learning like workshops presentation publication and content creation project. Student get opportunity for industry exposure in media houses digital platform pr agencies. I have my own plans for bussiness.

Institute’s infrastructure is really good with a green and pollution free environment regular maintenance is being undertaken by the staff maintaining a clean and free space.
Friendly faculty is there for students always ready to help.
College ensures there are regular events help engage students.

Dislikes

As a day scholar timings sometimes annoy a bit.
There are restrictions for going out for students after 2:00 clock
Traffic on the connecting road makes it difficult to reach on time to university.

Placement Experience:

You become eligible for placement from 6th semester , many companies like Jio , Reliance , Airtel , TCS employ students from the college , highest package is 50 lakh average is 5 lakh , 70% students get placement, my plan is to continue with the family business after getting the degree.

The infrastrucutre of this institution is very good providing good facility and aslo iy is best for security purposes.
The faculity is very good and friendly for students.
Mentor mentee sessions are one of the best sessions for us students.

Dislikes

The timing for classes sometime had a long gap in between them.
There are restriction for students to go out and come in within a specific period of time.
There is difficulty for students in transportation timings.

Placement Experience:

Students became eligible for placements in 6 semesters.company like infosys,nvidia, reliance and ATC . Almost 45 to 50 percent students get placed. I have to do business after degree.highest package got over 2 cr per annum.

Has good educational environment and friendly zone
Teachers are friendly and help in every situation

Dislikes

The swayam course which University has provided is not useful at all
Faculty is not providing proper information about swayam courses related issues and also re fees is costly
No fest are organised in campus for day scolars

Infrastructure is good. Campus is green.
Ac is Good. They work 24*7. Almost everytime it works
Greenery is good here. Plants and trees.

Dislikes

Staff and people have are very toxic. Specially elders.
Environment is bad, despitinh rest everything being good.
People are fighting here always. That makes you sick.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Courses are good. Study curriculum is good. Courses are well organised including extra departmental subjects. Structure is well structured.Study is well going according to the course. Exams happens twice a year
