Course Curriculum Overview
The course is of four years and having a compulsory rotatory internship of 6 months . The academic year starts in August and will be having exams in September. The first years contains five subjects which includes anatomy , physiology, biochemistry , sociology and psychology which is a combined paper and biomechanics. 50% marks is needed to pass . Second year at present the syllabus consist of 4 subjects exercise therapy, Electrotherapy, pathology and microbiology, pharmacology, 3rd year consists of 5 subjects medicine , surgery, pt ortho , pt cardio , clinical ortho . 4th year consist of 5 subjects including neurology and neurosurgery , pt neurology , community based rehabilitation, community medicine and research and biostatistics . And all physiotherapy subjects are having practicals and viva . 50% marks are required to pass in that as well
Placement Experience
Yes internship is providing by the college . We have pay a small amount for internship going on District Wenlock hospital mangalore , then the college is it own having a best clinic , other places where internship will be going on will be indiana hospital mangalore , oldage homes for geriatric studies , ladygoshen for gynaecology etc
College Events
Onam , holi , Christmas, and other cultural and local festivals will be celebrated. There will be a physio week where all other programs will be conducted by the students. There will be a freshers and farewell program conducted
Fee Structure And Facilities
Feasible 80000-100000 per year is the tution fees , other fees includes bus fee , university fee etc . Everything will come under 1 lakh in a year . The fee has to paid when each academic year starts .
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions
Nothing as such is provided . College will be helping and providing all sort of help to the students who in need by helping them getting their bank loans . College may extend the time to pay the fee if the student is really in need

There will be football tournaments, cricket tournaments, volleyball, badminton etc . Labs are absolutely fine . Cultural programs will be best . Physiocon which is physiotherapy festival and meet the presence of college and active participation is there . Last year our college was the overall campions in IAP conference
Hostel Facilities
Hostel is best in class , provides best food , full time electricity backup , wardens security etc . The rooms are big and can accompany 2-3 in a room . They are bath attached . There is recreational room , tv , newspaper etc

Absolutely helpful . Most of the alumnis are placed and well settled . They also helps in needs . It’s like where ever we do there is a shreedevian . In most of the cities our alumis and ex students are there which is very helpful in profession
Faculty
Best in class . Well mannered , well educated with highest educational qualifications. Starting from principal to other staff . We have got assistant professors in each subjects along with a professor and HOD in each department of the course . Experience and well practiced doctors are coming to teach medical subjects

I don't know about this much because I'm second year student but I heard from the senior that companies like Practo visit our college and many students are working abroad in the USA and Dubai etc If you have good knowledge of anatomy and Biomechanics and exercise therapy, electro therapy you can become a good Physiotherapist Doctor

The college have a very good library regarding the course. It is considered the second largest library for speech and hearing in karnataka
Admission
Eligibility: 10+2 from a recognized board with a combination of PCB and minimum specified marks. Admission form is available online. Fill and submit the form with required documents. Admission will be granted on the basis of scores obtained in entrance exam.
Placement Experience
The placement and job opportunities in the field of medicine are enormous. Jobs are available in both government and private sector with high salary packages. The college also provides internships in the department of attached hospitals.

I completed my BPT from Goutham College. It was an amazing experience, I learned a lot of new things, picked up skills and got tons of experience from here. The teachers helped me a lot during my education here. The hostel where I stayed was also good and we had good facilities and support provided by the college to help our academics and practical experience.
