Government Polytechnic Thane – My College Experience

Likes

As it is government collage, but still it have high level computer labs and high end computer for hevy coding
The collage teaching staff is very friendly and supportive
The collage arrange many competitions like quiz competition, sport tournaments and celebrate many festivels with fun.

Dislikes

The collage building is too old and not have well developed sport ground
The classrooms don't have Digi board or TV for didital learning and have old blackboard
The teachers don't take regular lactures, student have to study on it's own

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is good and covers important technical subjects. I choose IT because I was interested in computers and technology. It provides basic practical knowledge through lab work and projects, which is helpful for further studies. It can be improved by adding more latest technologies and practical learning. There are 2 unit tests in each semester followed by the final end sem exam. Exams are mostly moderate in difficulty.

Excellent college for diplomawith supportive faculty

Likes

teachers are helpful and you can ask them your doubts without any problem. most of them are quite supportive
there are technical events, sports and cultural programs during the year, so college is not only about studies
i liked the practical sessions and labs because we actually got to work on things instead of only learning the thoery

Dislikes

Placements opportunities could be better and i feel the college can bring more companies for students
Sometimes the academics workload can fell a bit much, espically when assignments, practicals and exams come around together
Using mobile in the collge is strictly not allowed and if used our mobile is taken and given after 6 to 7 days .

Placement Experience:

Placements at VES Polyetchnic are decent for a diploma college. students generally become eligible for placements in the final year.Pacages depend on the company and branch, with some offer going above 4 LPA. the placement cell also helps with interviews and internships. after diploma, many students also choose to continue with higher studies

A Good choice for engineering

Likes

I liked the college campus, infrastructure and the helpful nature of the faculty. Teachers explain concepts well and are supportive when students need guidance.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Why I chose the course: The course has a good mix of theory, practical subjects, labs and technical skills, which influenced my decision. Real-world preparation: The curriculum gives basic industry knowledge and practical experience. It is also useful for higher studies. Improvements: More practical projects, industry visits, updated technology and hands-on training would make the course better. Teaching could be more practical and interactive. Exams: Internal exams are conducted during the semester and university exams at the end. The difficulty is moderate and manageable with regular study.

Review for Bhausaheb Vartak Polytechnic in vasai

Likes

I liked how they support any type of sports or passion that the student likes.
All the laboratories have the required equipment ready for the practicals to be performed.
The canteen of the college has varities of food and snacks for students or staff members.

Dislikes

Sometimes Lectures are not being conducted properly in the classroom.
The classroom and labs are dirty. The walls have smudges and footprints from shoes.
Most of the computers in the laboratory do not function and are very poor in terms of specs.

Placement Experience:

As I have heard people mostly get placements from this college itself. If not they go for their degrees and take placement there. The salary is mostly around 5 lakhs per annum which is decent enough for most students. According to the principal from the college if a student studies afterwards for degrees this number racks up to 18 lakhs.

A Good choice for engineering

I had also considered a few other engineering colleges in Pune, but I chose Zeal College because of its location, fees, infrastructure and placement opportunities. I did not face any major rejection. Admission mainly depends on the eligibility criteria, entrance exam score and availability of seats. The admission process is through the Maharashtra admission process. For engineering, students generally apply through MHT-CET or JEE Main. MHT-CET is the exam most students prefer. The cutoff changes every year depending on the branch and category. Overall, the admission process was straightforward and the college staff helped with the required documents and admission formalities....Read More

ZEAL polytechnic institute college review. Good campus life with placement

I actually could,ve gotten a better college. But i didnt had much information about colleges in pune and im very new to this city. Few friends who were pursuing their degrees in zeal told me about this college and i found it really good. But i feel sad for not going for better college. I could,ve gotten into sinhgad which i think is a really good college. But this one is good too. I didnt look for other colleges. I applied to this college via government cap rounds which start in may/june. I had 70 percent in 12th. I selected this college and few others. Then i got the mail about the college few days after applying through online govt site for diploma. Admission process was really smooth. They notify us to bring specific documents like the cap round pdfs and caste certificate, caste validity....Read More
