Course Curriculum Overview

3

Firstly my university is a government university and off course it holds some value over private universities so this is also one of the reasons for selecting this particular university also there are various tech clubs , cosmogen club, placement club ,etc which helps us gain knowledge The course needs improvement in terms of reducing the fee structure as being a govt university a fee structure of 280000 is anyway not making sense and is not affordable for no. Of students and also the faculty can get better. Talking about the exams they are usually not very difficult they are moderate except a few subjects there difficult but usually the exams are moderate and the timing of the final term exams are 3 hours

Fees and Financial Aid

I pay a yearly fees of 280000 as tution fee and the registration fee was 2000 . Also the admission fee was 5000 If i talk. About my batchmates, some of them belong to sc or st categories therfore their fee is very less as compared to us. As long as i know, no merit scholarships are available unless and until you're from sports quota

Campus Life

3

Talking about the campus life it is quite interesting and fund for us because there are a number of festivals and annual events that keep happening in the university there is an annual event called youth festival it is really interesting and a lot of fun for the students also there a lot of informative clubs available that helps us to gain more and more knowledge and also the availability of sports and extra curricular activities offered on the campus is quite good

Admission

My first and last preference was only this college that I am currently studying in and clear got admission into this and my reason for preparing this college was it being a government university and its always set that the value of a government university is much more than a private one and talking about the admission process of my college there was an entrance exam for getting admission into Bachelors of Technology in computer engineering and this entrance test was almost 70% the level of JEE National examination so after clearing this entrance examination and the cut off of this exam was on the basis of the number of the seats available in my course the number of seats available were 80 so the first 80 students who scored the best got seat and the others for rejected talking about the overall admission experience it was not very good or not very bad at the same time it was moderate

Faculty

2

The faculty student ratio is not very great . There are only limited professors who are willing to teach with their whole heart otherwise most of them don't even clear our doubts and never complete syllabus . There are total 6 exams in first semester of my course and we have heard from seniors or professors that maths and mechanics are the exams in which no. Of students get failed

Interview Experience

4

As of now no interviews or test have been happened because it's just my first semester in the college there for I don't know much about these activities and if you guys are asking about the interview questions then at the time of admission there were no interviews they just check the documents and asked basic questions like her name or percentage ages in Board

Night Life

4

The night life that I have heard from my hostel friends that it is quite nice and fun there are a lot of cafeteria available gyms are there and also the library is 24 and 7 opened and the public area has the security which makes sure for the students that there are safe and also the wardens in the hostel are very good and they help the students to stay safe

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

Placement Experience:

Students generally become eligible for placement from 7th semester, with numerous major companies like wipro, cognizant and various tech startups visit the campus with various offers. The university sees a high percentage of students getting placed. The package are widely depending on various skill and codes. Furthermore while the highest package looks impressive on paper, the avg package remains modest for the majority of the batch. My personal plans after getting the degree focus on exploring independent entrepreneurial ventures rather than tradition corporate placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
