Course Curriculum Overview

5

The curriculum, as mentioned before is rigorous. Tests and vivas are regularly taking place to make us prepared for university exams and keep the preparation on track. Also the PG selection ratio is very good so makes sense.

Internships Opportunities

4

After 4.5, the internship in our own hospital is a great learning opportunity, many people utilise this time to prepare for their post graduate exams also. After college one can always work for hospitals like max medanta , or their own hospitals.

Placement Experience

4

In medical the idea of placements is rather useless. However you can practice in our own or other hospitals in bigger cities. Most students prepare for INICET and NEET Pg and secure good ranks there. Others explore foreign options. Good selection ratio in both the fields as college is good in academics .

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fees is around 1 cr(with annual increment of 10% per annum). Not much scholarships to avail as such but the fees for private and deemed colleges in India comes around to this cost only. Maybe they have some merit based scholarship for students from state of Haryana but mostly the fees is same for all.

Campus Life

5

We have two fests: universumm and iris Iris is only for medical students and universumm is university fest. Both are very nice, while iris feels more homely as alike students participate, universumm is bigger and better as more interaction happens. Feels good to be part of something fun after so much studying Clubs are also present in college and our college is very supportive and encouraging when it comes to sports. We have a lot of sports facilities which are great to avail for students

Hostel Facilities

5

Hostels are nice and spacious. Hot water is available in winters, AC service is good ACs work fine for the hot weather in Ambala. The wardens are sweet and nice. They don't say anything much unless you are creating a wreck. Food is well, food. No comments on that.

Admission

The college has a good NIRF rank and it makes sense that it has so. The faculties are very good and also the PG selection ratio is good. Most students explore options for studying outside for PG. Good college .

Faculty

5

Faculties are very well educated and from top colleges. For first year they are very friendly. Even though the sense of professionalism is always there, they are quite kind and helpful. Lots of exams and tests but also in medical schools the curriculum is rigorous so cannot say much about that.

Night Life

2

The curfew timing is rather less for girls. But in girls hostel itself you can make a lot friends and have fun. Chandigarh and Ambala is nearby, if you want to go somewhere. Lot of restaurants and cafés in the campus. Kasol and HealthyVibes are my personal favourite. Can always go to Nescafé in the lawn for a small coffee :)

MBBS is a professional course. Sometimes it feels like that it is more theoritical than practical. We are supposed to cram the things that have no future importance like name of scientist etc. Exams are usually in June and December

Course Curriculum Overview:

Becoming a doctor was my dream so I decided to go for MBBS. Although I am a first-year professional student and I haven't spent much time in college but still till now I have an amazing experience. It's quite an interesting course. The faculty members are quite hardworking and passionate. Internals are conducted from time to time to ensure our learning.

the coolege is goood but on the expensive side if fee for medical courses is concerned. the management fines you hefty for irrelevant things sometimes and they dont spoil a single opportunity to pull out cash from your pockets

Remarks:

In terms of study, faculty, labs its awesome. but one drawback is its high academic fee. Campus life is very easy and beautiful each student enjoys college life nature and climate is also suitable for every student in college. There are about 55 % boys and 45 % girls in college. there are a lot of labs and extracurricular activities are organized which are very good.

Admission:

The admission is done purely on the basis of your NEET score. A cutoff is declared after the NEET results are out. A merit list is taken out. Upto 3 merit lists are taken out on regular intervals of 2-3 days during the admission and counseling process. I scored 474 in neet and got admitted to this college.

Our college is overall a nice college with decent education and so so extracurricular activities. However our college doesn't have a "Canteen" which is rather negative for all the students. The playground is also not very big but still it's a nice college.
