Course Curriculum Overview
In ISM department the main things which you will learn is about Accounts, Commerce and Computer related subjects. Each year will be having different subjects based on the upgradation in today's world. You will be having skill development courses to choose including communication classes and elective courses. Coursera plays a very major roll in our college. Students will be given a choice to choose between elective courses.
Internships Opportunities
Most of the courses will be having their internship training in their final year or in the beginning of the final year. It is a mandatory thing to do our interships. And there will be viva conducted at the end of the semester.
Fees and Financial Aid
We pay a lump sum od Rs. 55000 as the tuition fees and there is no admission or even registration fees collected seperately. And all of my batch mates also pay the same fees as we are in the same course category. SDNB Vaishnav College gave me first priority in my most important part of my life. There is a lot of placement facilities available in our college. The faculty members are really good with a lot of experience.
Campus Life
The students will be able to participate in a lot of cultural activities like Diva and smriti. These are the 2 most important cultural events celetrated in our college. The library in our college is accessable through online and offline. There is lot books available to choose from. There is a annual sports meet up which will be held in stadiums outside the campus.
Admission
SDNBVC gave me the first preference compared to other colleges. This college gives the students a lot of oppurtunities to participate in a different kinds of competitions.The admission process is to just apply for our college through online. The students with the highest percentage will be given first preference or first come first serve method will be followed.
Faculty
In our department faculty members are really good. Since the relationship between the teachers and the students are good, there is a healthy relationship between us. This makes it easier for students to clarify the doubts and understand the subject way more easier. In our department (Information System Mangemnt), there are about 220 students and 5 faculty members . The learning process is really easy to understand as students. In a semester there will be 2 internal exams which consists to 5 to 6 subjects depending on the year including the practicals.
Night Life
In our college the most favorite hangout spots are the ground and the canteen. College is divided into 2 shifts . From 8:20 to 12:50 will the the shift 1 timing and from 1:00 to 5:30 will be the shift 2 timings. These thing makes our college life even more beautiful . The chromepet locality is very safe since its always busy during day and night time.
