IMSEC review

I have chosen ECE where students can approach both the fields hardware and software. That is why I have chosen this field so I can diversify my future career opportunities. The curriculum related to real world applications. The ECE students are taught DSP and DSD in digital electronics. Analog circuit and microprocessor and microcontroller in analog electronics. We have subjects like communication engineering and vlsi to study communication system. Though there is need to improve in the labs. There should be more labs related to real life applications. The college timings should also be reduced so that students get more time to prepare for their jobs and internships.

There are so many companies that offer paid internship to students. A recent internship is offered for the 2026 passout students. The company name is Adobe. Adobe has offered 2 months summer internship for the students of all branches. The stipend is 40000 per month. The interview is ongoing and the role offered is costumer service maker intern. The role is to provide better service to costumers using Adobe service.

From 6th semester students are eligible for campus placements. There are so many companies that visit our college. Airtel, Anglo eastern, aptara corp, daffodil software, global logic, MAQ Software, Midas care, IBM, Wipro, Genpact, Infotech, TCS, etc. There are some other companies like Nestle, Capgemini, cognizant, Deloitte, HCL etc. The highest package was 50lpa in 2022 which was off campus placement. The average placement is 5lpa

The year wise fees that I am paying is 1st year fees was 135085 Indian rupees 2nd year fees was 119000 Indian rupees 3rd year fees was 125019 Indian rupees 4th year fees is 128000 Indian rupees These yearly fee include tuition fees, registration fee is around 1500 rupees which is at the time of admission only. Development charges is 5000 per year which is included in fees And the fees is same for all the categories. Students can apply fee waiver. And students admitted through counselling can apply for UP scholarship. As for scholarship the 70% of the total fee is available in the scholarship.

IMSEC has several annual and technical fest every year. The freshers party held around November to December. The farewell party held around may to June. The cultural and technical fest held in May . The sports fest also takes place in May or June. Some sports tournament and tech competition takes place every few weeks or months. The wide range of course curriculum and reference books are available at the library and any student can access it through their college id card. There are books related to competitive exams as well. The classrooms has table and chais for students. The white board and projector is also available.. There are some technical and cultural clubs in the college . The college students can join the clubs according to their field of interest.

I have also applied to other colleges of AKTU . I have applied to AKG and ABESIT. But I didn't get ECE there so I chose IMSEC. I didn't get rejection from anywhere but though I didn't get my prefferd branch anywhere else , so I chose this college . The admission process is simple . You can direct admission if you've decent percentage in your 12th class. They basically focus on your PCM percentage. They just do a quick counselling about your aspirations and dreams and provide admission. After counseling you complete your registration and deposit your fees and the admission process will be done.

The faculty to student ratio is decent. The faculty is ready to help students at their best. There are faculty rooms department wise . You can directly go their cabins and approach them and ask any problem you have. Most of the facilities are so good and helpful. But I like a teacher from my department. He teaches us subjects related to digital electronics. He is educated, well spoken and so down to earth. Not only he listens to students but also understand it and tries to solve their issues. And the quite opposite faculty is who teaches us analog electronics. He is only the big talks. He only knows how to mock at the students condition. Even though he never meets to complete his syllabus but his mouth is the biggest problem. There are 2 sessional exams in every semester CT1 and CT2 . The course curriculum is medium hard . If you regularly attend the class you can easily pass the internal and external exams.

There is gym, canteen , library present in the college campus for the hostellers. The boys and girls gyms are seperate. The girls hostel has the last entry time at 8 pm . While the boys hostel timing is not restricted. The hostellers can access the library anytime according to their time restrictions. There are few stops, cafes, and hangout places around the college. The RDC is also not so far so students can also go there for some good spots to hangout. The location is not so safe to roam at night
