Likes
- The faculties are highly qualified and well educated they teaches in a manner that everyone understands easily.
- Class are well maintained and every class a smartboards.
- A mentor is assigned to every 25 students in a class. So any problem a student faces can convey the same and mentor will take care of it.
Dislikes
- Attendance policy is strictly followed. If your attendance is low then you will be detained and have to pay 12000 for every exam in which subject you are detained.
- Ratio of boys and girls is like in every class 15 girls and 60 boys. That's not good according to me.
- Day scholars and pg students don't get much opportunity as compared to hostelers. They are not allowed after 5 pm you have to get additional permission to stay for long hours in the college.
Course Curriculum Overview
I'm enrolled in computer science program. Every subject is very inlined with the curriculum and web development is being teached from 1st semester that awesome. As our college become an autonomous College so management has reduced theoretical things replacing it with practical learning and application based subjects. There are 3 major exam in one semester MSE1 and MSE2 and last end sem exam.
Internships Opportunities
Many companies visit campus for placement like cognizant infosys tcs. But for intership students have to fight for the internship. The good thing in 3rd year if you get internship college will give you NOC so you don't have to attend college during your internship.
Placement Experience
Good not great. Although placement is decent but in 2024 a student cracked a package of 60 Ipa but it's off campus. After autonomous I think on campus placement will go up. Now it's highest on campus placement is 45 lpa.
Fees and Financial Aid
I'm in first year of btech computer science. My overall fees is around 140499 including books medical allowance, insurance, etc. but if you have a good rank in jee mains then you can get a Fee waiver seat in the college my roommate got that seat he have to pay only 20000 approx that a benefit.
Campus Life
Campus life is not so good as I'm a 1st year student so, so don't known much about the fest. But as senior says there is one fest which will be in February or in March is the only fest. Our freshers party was so bad literally that was bad as compared to other colleges. There are many clubs in the college which are active and many students have to attend the class of the club. So clubs are really good. You will get alot of club in different different genre like tech. Dancing, singing, coding, etc
Admission
So, I choose this college because it's an autonomous college compared to other colleges affiliated with AKTU. Benefits of autonomous is that, you don't have to go in other colleges and your copy checking will be done within the college. It's campus size is not so big. So, If anyone wants college with big campus with good campus life so this college is not for you.
Faculty
Student to faculty ratio is ok ok but not good. 75 student in a class only one faculty. But facilities are good in explaining the topic. My favourite teacher is of mathematics his name is Dr. Kuldeep Sir. His teaching skill and knowledge is unbeatable. Before I have to open YouTube to learn .but now I don't have to open yt he teaches in a way that every topic is very clear and my maths is become my favourite subject.
Night Life
I don't know night life of college because I'm a pg student. As my classmate is in hostel according to him the nightlife in the college is not so nice. Hostel timings max 10 o'clock in night. the campus is small so there are less places inside the campus to hangout in night.
