What Students Say

Likes

College is good with avg placement of 5L per annum and 60L per annum highest
College is good with fees structure which I already mention
College provides a good coding environment here in kiet

Dislikes

Attendance criteria is too strict which I don't like here
Teachers are very good but strict which I don't want
Small campus size with a bad locality area around kiet

Course Curriculum Overview

In autonomous curriculum becomes relevant with want company wants as in first sem we have taught C language and in second semester we are doing Data structures in C language with a coding platform just like gfg

Class Size: 160Course Fees: INR 140000 per year

Placement Experience

Placement here is going good with avg placement of 5L and highest 60L recorded last year and currently I have listen that one girl have also achieved 1cr package but it may be rumour so not sure about this

Fees and Financial Aid

It is about 140k per year with triple sharing hostel worth 107k and single seater with 110k and 25k extra for ac rooms in both single and triple sharing for each person in one year and it depends on you if you want hostel or not

Campus Life

Coding platform is good with many coding clubs which also conducts various hackathon and provide a good environment for coding in kiet college also students take participte in nearby college for thir bettermenet

Admission

I chose this college as it is very good in gaziabad side private colleges with avg placement over past years also value of kiet is increasing as it has become autonomous from now so I prefer kiet over any other clg

Faculty

Faculty is very good but also I don't want strict faculty as they will force you to attend the classes also in autonomous u have to maintain 75 percent attendance in all subjects not overall otherwise you will not allow in exam

Night Life

Night life is also good with lightings over the entire campus and girls hostel gets locked after 7.30pm and boys hostel at 10pm and also at 9am in the morning so that no student bunks from classes here

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

The campus has all basic facilities from food to stationary.

The food may sometimes be not very good.
The campus has less places to spend some free time other than some spots.
Due to small academic hall places may look too crowded.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is really one of the the factors convincing everyone to take admission in SRM ,average package from the college is of around 10,00,000 which is really a very good amount in todays stresfull market.

Inside Out of KIET

My decision was I could say influenced by my elder brother and I don't regret taking admission here. I applied to all AKTU colleges got rejected only from IET LUCKNOW and KNIT SULTANPUR purely due to percentile reason Other than that I got all the colleges including BIET JHANSI. I chose this one due to placement of the 2022 batch. Admission happens here through JEE MAINS and DIRECT ADMISSION as well For my course if you are general then you should have atleast 90+ percentile if you are from home state that is UP. Direct Admission happens on the basis of 12th result for CSE you need near around 90 percentage...Read More

In comparision of other colllege fee structure is very favourable and afforable like in other private college like Amity , galgotia ,gl bajaj etc KIET offers various oppournity for students in each in every fields thy want to make their carrier. Admission process majorly through jee main rank and percentile through AKTU counselling but 15% seat they fill by direct admission on merit based list.
