SRM AP Overall Experience.

For Computer Science, there curriculum consists of traditional subjects like OS, DBMS and also industry specific subjects like Big Data Principles, Information Retrieval, Machine Learning etc., There will be assessment on each week for internal evaluation.

I have done an internship with APSSDC which increased my interest levels in Data Science sector. I have done projects including Customer cluster analysis and Emotional Analysis using Brain Signals. These are very interesting projects which help me to gain practical experience.

There are comparitively good placement opportunities and there are several companies that are constant recruiters for SRM AP. There are around 200 companies to visit and average package range near to 6 LPA. Placement percentage is near to 90%. I plan to get a job after my degree.

Year wise fee: 70,000 Along with that I have paid training fee of 10,000 for 3 years, admission fee for one year and exam fee an average of 3,000 for each semester. There are other category seats which have an tution fee of around 3.5 Lakhs per year. Exam fee, training fee and caution deposit same as my category. There are some government fee reimbursement schemes applicable when you get a seat through EAPCET exam and also you should fall into the guidelines specified by the government. There will be some concession from University side if a student got top rank in SRMJEE.

Technical fests are neofest and there are other technical fests too and cultural fests include Infinitus and ALOHA. There is a huge Library and very wide range of books available. There are very good facilities provided in classroom including AC, digital board etc., There are some student run social groups and some clubs like music clubs, dance clubs

I applied for SRM AP, VIT AP, Gayatri Vidhya Parishad in Vizag during my EAPCET councelling. This college is in my locality so I thought it will be easy to reach college and meet family frequently. I didn't get rejection from any college because I applied to EAPCET councelling making SRM AP as my first choice. Admission process has two types of categories one belong to government quota and other is college allocation. Exams accepted: EAPCET, SRMJEE. Cutoffs will change every year sometimes it go out of trend.

70:1 is an approximation of faculty to student ratio but the faculty maintain healthy relationship with students. Exams are frequently conducted and there will be continuous assessment for the internal evaluation. There will be relative grading which is helpful for students. There are some faculty who are very supportive and give advices to the students can help them making their carrer better.

There is gym available in hostels and there is gym for day scholars too. Day scholars campus visit timings are from morning 8am to evening 6 pm. There are places available to hangout like lawns, some extra space around the blocks, and walk ways too. The night life is soo good.
