Course Curriculum Overview

Yeass the teaching methods are also too good of our college. I don't get much time to attend college everyday but whenever I do I understand everything about the topic. The professor are too good of our college

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 3000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I got free admission mostly because my father's income is less than 2lac. So we have income certificate for that. A verification from the court. So I just have to pay examinations fees whenever there is finals

Campus Life

The overall experience of my college is also too good. Like we got Events , trips provided from the college. We also get other activities. So that our mind gets peace also. The festivals are celebrate very gracefully

Admission

I choose this college because I get time for my professional life . Because I do dance and also I teach dance, so I get enough time to invest in the dance. That's why I choose this college and the college is very FAMOUS

Faculty

I don't have the idea about marking schemes . Our sessional exams held of 30marks and final of 80marks. And 20 marks are for our attendance, assignment, practical, viva. The 20marks are added to the final exam

Night Life

There is gym in my college but there is not much night life in the college . There are hostels for boys . They can play or go out but there is a sharp time to return back at hostel. They get freedom with some restrictions

Gauhati University: A Students perspective.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This is an integrated course where i will be getting a masters degree after completing 5 years. Only tezpur university provides this course other than GU. The curriculum prepares students mainly to pursue careers in academic fields and research fields. More practical aspects can be added to provide a holistic knowledge to the students. The exams are very well planed.

I applied to a lot of other colleges but those were all backup for me if I didn't get admission here . I applied in dispur college , kc das commerce college , guwahati college etc . We are admitted to colleges here using the samarth website. There are two merit lists provided by each college in the samarth website. I wasn't selected in the 1st merit list in gcc which ofcourse scared me a bit , but I got my names in the other previously mentioned colleges but I wanted to wait for the second merit list for which I had to hear a lot like what if I didn't even get my name on the second list of gcc . But I was sure I would get because my percentage was just 0.4% short from the cut off of the last merit list . I wanted this college because of emotional attachments + gcc has one of the best merits among all the commerce colleges in the entire northeast . Even this year in the toppers list published by gauhati university, 9 out of 10 students were from Gcc itself...Read More

I've applied to many other colleges in Guwahati city like KC DAS commerce College , Dispur College, but I have choosed this college at last, because this college is also known as the best college in the entire Northeast, so I have chooses this college.
