What Students Say

Likes

College Campus , Teachers , Technical Facilities and The faculties supporting the students in every aspect.
The placement cell worked very effectively on a war mode basis to help each and every student to get in the available companies.
The infrastructure is very good. it has an auditorium , sports , area , play area , hostel , blocks of every individual department.

Dislikes

NA as there are no such things i disliked regarding the college

Course Curriculum Overview

As far we consider that textbook knowledge is not the real world knowledge , and that is 100% truth. So in this case scenario. the college helped a lot and took initiatives for students to arrange industrial visits to Thermal power plant at wanakbori.

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 4000 per year

Internships Opportunities

VGEC College in ahemdabad offers a variety if internship opportunities , typically in collabration with both the industry and academia. While the exact internships can chage over time , here's a general breakdown of the types of opportunities you can exact.

Fees and Financial Aid

VGEC had a fees structure same as Goverment Engineering Colleges of Gujarat. It ranged form Rs. 1800 to Rs. 2500 per year depending upon the semesters. The fees were to be paid on a semester basis after completion of each semester.

Campus Life

Csmpus life at VGEC is amazing. There are clubs like Mechanical Engineering Student Association , VGEC Rocketry Team. NCC cadets are also trained in the college and many social activities by Prof. Dr. Vaseem Qureshi is intiated to make student aware about literacture.

Admission

VGEC is one of the best colleges in gujarat. it ranks 2nd in terms og Govt. colleges in gujarat and first rank is of LD College of Engineering. Every student studying in std. 12th or Diplom Engineering in Gujarat once have a dream to get into LD college of engineering.

Faculty

The well qualified faculties are teaching in each and every department of the college. The teachers holding PhD. Masters form IITs nd NITs are guiding students a lot and igniting a spark of knowledge in students life.

Night Life

No night life i had celebrated as I always used to go back home after completing my college. But my friends who stayed in the hostel always used to travel aroud as there are lots and lots of cafeterias , restaurants nearby to celebrate some small events such as if someone clears backlog.

The parul university review

Likes

The campus view is awesome we all will see new things everytime and it feels fresh at the morning.
The personal development of particular students have been in focus of every faculty which is awesome.
The behaviour towards students of every professor is the best all are understanding and calm towards students.

Dislikes

There is a system of gate pass means whenever u need to go out of main gate with the permission we are not allowed to go.
In hostel the washrooms are not so clean for the students with common washroom hostel
The mess food are boring sometimes and the food of the food seems to be same everytime

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I have a great interest in coding and this field is based on coding so i choosed the computer field. -The curriculum of the college are based on the things which will help us in future for real world application. -The way they i based on pdf means they make a full note of a subject in pdf and explain that and which makes clear to us so I don't think they should change. -There is a enough time to study for exams it depends on us how me manage it and the difficulty level is medium it is based on what we have understood till now in studies we have studied.

there are quite a few restrictions like no roaming allowed after 9:30pm.
mess food is not so good, its managable but sometimes it feels miserable
for every small thing to be done, lots of paperwork is required whether you need to go outside the campus or needs a NOC

Placement Experience:

in my unversity, proper placements usually start from 7th sem, however after 4th sem, the collage provides the opputunity to go for impact traning if youve got more than 60% in your 10th, 12th and throughtout the semesters from that traning top permorning student get a chance to sit for product-based companies. as of now (jan 2026), the highest placement recorded is 60lpa at microsoft, the average is aroudn 3.5 lps to 6 lpa, most of the recruiting companies are service based such as capgemini, infosys, tcs etc. around 200-250 students gets palce after heavy filtering, i plan to go for higher studies,
