What Students Say

Likes

The college has gained autonomous status.
College environment is really calm and campus is also good but not too big.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum was based on Mumbai University syllabus but now as the college is autonomous. There may be changed in the syllabus. Each semester you have to make a project on different subjects. There are workshops which are conducted.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 136000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Tata Communications - Data Analyst. Worley - Analyst. And many more. The internships are provided to students who have met basic criteria of grade points. Training might also be given at the time of placements.

Placement Experience

The placements of the college is good as of now. There are many companies visiting the college. And now due to autonomous status, the college is reaching out different companies. There may be more companies visiting in upcoming years.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly Fees - 136000 TFWS - 20000(Through MHTCET CAP) Scholarship for students admitted through MHTCET provided by Government of Maharashtra. For Girls 100% Tuition fee waiver For Boys 50% Tuition fees waiver

Campus Life

There are many clubs in college. TML is the biggest event of the college which happens every year. Google Developer Group is also there in college. Many Technical fests are held throughout the year in which competition and bootcamps are held.

Admission

I chose this college because it was easier to commute to college. Travel was a concern for me. People living in Navi Mumbai, Panvel, Even Chembur side and Thane can prefer this college as the crowd is less at peak hours.

Faculty

Faculties in our college are really qualified and are really helpful and supportive. There are 2 semesters in a year. Each semester has 2 Internal assessments and a end sem examination. The marks are dependent on the subjects.

Night Life

There's no hostel available in college itself. I don't really have idea about the night life in college. But till 7pm the college is almost empty. College itself is in Nerul. There's a mall in seawoods which is close to Nerul.

PES College of Engineering: Overview of the college

Likes

The campus of the college is vast with a natural environment
Many facilities like library, sophisticated labs, and classrooms are provided by the college
The Teachers cover each and every point of the syllabus and guide the students.

Dislikes

The syllabus is a little bit outdated, that is some points in the syllabus may seems boring and not applicable in the real world.
The Teachers should use the right techniques for teaching which makes the students more engaging in the class.
The menu of the canteen must contain some health option in a budget friendly way.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is decent in the college as compare to other colleges of the city . many companies visited the college every year to hire the skillful engineers from the college and offer them a good amount of package. The option of the offcampus palcement is also there for the students of the other colleges.

My perspective about my college!!

Likes

Such a huge campus and it is located not far from the city so bus and autos are always available.
Our canteens serves Misal Pav which is next level.
For a city like Amravati and a college like ours, having a tech fest is a dream but since 2022, we have been hosting a tech event called Techlons.

Dislikes

Crowd is not that amazing as most students are non-serious over here.

Placement Experience:

TCS trains us in the third year and L&T Infotech and TCS are the ones who hired students. Almost half the students were taken by these two companies with an annual salary of 6 lakhs or so. For a freshers to work in such companies is a privilege and I am glad, we get this opportunity at our college.

I like my college building,classes,labs.
Canteen is good.it provides good quality food.
Library is best. Very nice management and staff

Dislikes

Canteen is good but they must increase their staff.
Class should be sound proof.noice from outside disturbs.
Stationary staff should be increased and price should be decreased.

Placement Experience:

From sem 7 students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Accenture,Wipro, Microsoft, HyperVerge have visited college. In 2020 highest package was 30 lac per annum by Amazon. Last year only 40% students got the placement. I am planning for competitive exams after degree.

A Brief Theory Round Of Aissms College Of Engineering

Likes

The campus is quite big and there are proper laboratories for every subject , also the faculty is quite helpful and helps student to settle up and get along so that the teaching and doubt interaction is built up from the starting
We have metro station right outside the gate of college so the travelling is quite simple
It's also good to have a college stationary right inside the campus and with discount too!

Dislikes

The benches are small which kind off makes the students uncomfortable to sit for more than 2 hours in that space
Canteen hygiene is not maintained at all
There's no underground parking for students and lack of space for parking of two wheelers

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite good in Aissms College Of Engineering in comparison to the other one institute of Information technology. I personally have even saw seniors getting placements when they were in placement round room. And looking at all the boards the college has put up and I can definitely says that the college does get placements and companies do come

Living and Learning at IIT Bombay: My Review

Likes

Faculty and teaching assistants are so friendly and are with great experience and wisdom.
Other than education many other activities take place like NCC, NSS, sports competitions, inter IIT competitions, etc.,
Ragging, student and gender abuse are strictly banned

Dislikes

sometimes we have to work till midnight for any tech teams, any assignments, etc., if the submission is not done in proper time. But faculty don't keep any pressure or stress on students to do certain tasks

Placement Experience:

Job placements starts from 3rd year 2 nd semester or 4th year 1st semester. Many Multi National Companies, like Amazon, Google, Sony, etc.,, come to hire students. Almost 70 % of the students get jobs. Atfer completing graduation, few people begin their startups and other businesses with the knowledge gained in the university.

Some departments here were really great like ETC and Mechanical with a unique culture going on
AIML and AIDS being new branches here are still doing their job very well for the students

Dislikes

The Students section not really tends to help ,as i saw many financially weak students facing the problem of 1 time payment fees and their request for part payments option is always rejected
Infrastructure is decent but in summer season the water coolers are just useless there ,no cooler will give you cold water

Course Curriculum Overview:

Some courses were to the point like IOT was well designed and DSA too with java programming side by side ,still as i said AIML is new branch and needs much enhancements ,the areas where they can improve was always practicals and labs those were always taken casual as i remember

However i got a seat in VIT Vellore ina higher fee bracket which was not ideal. Since i believed that further education(MBA Mtech) Was also required i decided not to spend too much for a college and so chose SIES based on my CET score. I was allocated CE in SIES based of my percentile in CET but due to a mistake in the seat allocation I missed the seat, i got ECS later based in spot admission...Read More
