What Students Say

Likes

Academics is perfect here , the faculties are well experienced and laboratories are well equipped , hospital within the campus provides better exposure
College conducts programs frequently for students to participate
The classmates and students are nice and campus is free of ragging

Dislikes

Support for sports and sports activities are less generally
Auditorium and ground could have been maintained better than how currently it is kept

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is actually a good one with variety of opportunities but the hard part would obviously be learning Sanskrit slokas which for people like me with no previous experience in Sanskrit is tough at the start but I believe it can be reduced gradually

Class Size: 53Course Fees: INR 270000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I am a student of general category and I payed a few of 270000 per year as tution fee for my government quota seat but for management seat the fee is 370000 , books costed about 8500 for 1st year additionally and were provided from college, we can buy additional books for reference as per our choice

Campus Life

Campus Life is good and we had to engage in social activities like health surveys and also programs like prakriti pareekshan which helped students a lot interms of socially interacting with people and knowing their problems and difficulties

Admission

This college is really good in terms of academics and every year have atleast one 1st or 2nd or 3rd rank holder in UG and PG sectors, moreover faculties are really experienced and college and hospital is well known for its medicines and success rate

Faculty

Every subject or department has 3 faculties minimum with one professor, one associate professor and one assistant professor, almost all of them are friendly but sometimes feel like they are too judgemental towards us as well Every month a PA exam is conducted and university exam is conducted once in every 1.5 yr( 1 professional year)

Night Life

Just outside campus u can see a lots of cafes and bakeries and tea shops , I am not a hosteler so I am unsure about gym facilities around the campus but the college hostel doesn't have a gym facility There is library in college and every department has its own Library

A bad college with good faculties

Likes

70% of the faculties are very friendly and kind
College atmosphere is so positive and calm
Provides hostel facilities which has a clean atmosphere

Dislikes

Putting too much pressure on students over there academic period and internship period
They offers stipend on admission and does not provides any stipend on internship period
Demanding facilities are not provided for the students

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course seems very intresting even though it gives some mental stress. In my opinion syllabus should be a little more oriented And exclude the importance of slogas since it is an unnecessary things to by heart

This college has it’s hospital where the student can practice his/her learning, it is affiliated to kerala university of health sciences, Thrissur. They conduct conferences which helps students get external exposure and contributes towards overall learning.

Admission:

I got admission in this college through entrance examination CEE conducted by Kerala government. After that merit list is prepared. To be eligible for this one should at least 50% in biology and 50% in all three, Physics, chemistry and biology together. And must have completed 17 years of age.

Remarks:

Very good college with good faculty and staff. College is located near to eranakulam and is located in national highway. They have bus stand and railway station near by. And metro station also coming.

All Is Well

Remarks:

Our college is a government medical college so that so many patients are there. In this way students has improve there practical knowledge. There is negative remark also. That is the faculties are very bad as they give importance to theoratical knowledge rather than practical knowledge
