Remarks

Are college is best almost in all fields whether it is teaching, faculty, infrastructure or events in each and every thing it is upto the mark only the drawback is about placement and hostel problem.

Course Curriculum Overview

In our college facility of both graduation and post graduation is provided. Numerous courses are there except B.tech courses.classes are regular and also Open University facility is also there. Exams are conducted properly, it is affiliated by Hrmwati Nandan bahuguna garwal university.

Placement Experience

The facility of job placements are not there but if you are doing ph.d you can it under the professors. Also benefit of internship is not there. Its a college which having no courses regarding internship. Only this is the drawback of our college.

College Events

There are numerous events are organised every year that is freshers party, annual function, different co curricular activities, college fests, seminars, sports competitions, elections related events are also.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is very feasible for each and every course.I am a Bsc student and fees for the whole is almost 3000. Not even any extra charges is incurred. Not any examination fee not any fees for any events.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship facility is provided to the students but only for those who belongs to the category of Sc, St, or obc. For general category no such scholarship is there. Also loan facility is not provided as the fees is very feasible.

Campus Life

Different extra curricular activities are conducted every year loke drawing, rangoli, quiz, and show you talents programmes are conducted. Competition both internal and external are conducted. Different colleges participate in the event. Sports competition like cricket, table tennis etc.

Hostel Facilities

In our college facility of hostel is not provided. But around the college many pg's are available at very economical rates for both boys and girls.Infrastucture of college is also good 2 different liabraries,labs, canteens, etc are available

External Expense: Rs.7000 - Rs.10000

Alumni/Alumna

All senior students are kind and helpful.They even do all the work of admission process from form filling to taking id card all. They not only provide physical help but they also motivates us mentally. Provides us career guidance and also teaches some subjects to us.

Admission

First you have to take admission form in which all necessary details have to be filled. Then on merit basis your selection will be done.The admission activity happens for 10-20 days and after that merit comes.

Faculty

Faculty of college is very nice.Each and every professor is highly educated as well as their teaching skills are worth of praising. They not only helps in studies but all give career guidance too.They methodology is also very easy.

Likes

The cafeteria is now wide and also breathable as they worked on infra
There faculties are knowledgable and also cooperative
The functions here make students involve to showcase their hobbies on stage

The washroom area should be more good and hygiene
The placement journey is little tough for us and m
The warden behavior sometimes very rude towards students of hostel

My honest review of MBPG College

Likes

Being a government college the fees are very low and student friendly most teachers are knowledgeable supportive and clear in explanation focus on studies exam and all over all discipline
Open ground greenery and enough space to relax between classes decent collection of academic books and difference material
Easy to reach from different part of Haldwani lesson unnecessary pressure more focus on its education

Dislikes

Infrastructure is old type som building needs to get repair
Campus placement opportunity are very few from classroom slabs and building need renovation
Not many model amenties compared to private colleges office works can be slow

The curriculum follows kumaun University guidelines ensure standardization and recognition core subjects are well structured and concept curriculum should a include more practical exposure projects work and field work examination are conducted semester wise and generally twice year internal assessments include test assignments and practicals during the semester

Likes

Social life is good with feat happening around in college.
Wifi is provided in our building and the hostel.
Infrastructure of our new hostel and our labs is good

Dislikes

Teachers are qualified but the quality education is not good
Too much restriction on girls but boys are free to roam at night.
Mess food is just acceptable not that good.

Placement Experience:

For campus placement students need to be atleast in last or second last semester of the course. But for internship it's fine even if student is in 1st or 2nd yr. But most of teh students here decided to pursue master from here only and I still don't know have exact idea hown many students got placed in th companies.

I like the college curriculum and study materials and teaching style of the teachers . Some teachers are impressive and their teaching style is too good .
Campus life is not much engaging but we usually spent our time in studying only . Also for attendance there is not much more criteria but some teachers are very strict in taking the attendance.
Faculties are full of experience and knowledge. They are approachable online and offline too but after the class.

Dislikes

I don't like the placement system in my college because the students studying in 2nd year do not get any exposure of placement . There is placement cell in our college but not very active .
Infrastructure is good but it should be spread in a more big acres . My wish was to get into IIT Kharagpur that's why I am asking for big campus .
Overall curriculum and research based approach of the campus is good. They just give projects to the seniors and seniors work is to dictate us about the project and helps us in building different types of project.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main aspects that motivates me to choose this college is the GFTI'S colleges . Because my father suggest me that govt. Colleges seeks more companies that's why I choose this college . But truth is totally opposite from the reality. Real world application based projects is just given by the teachers in every semester but we students copy it and give it to them from the gpt. College timing should be more less we have to study from 10 am to 5 p.m. Timings of exams are of 3 hrs only in semester . Difficulty level is moderate.

The faculties were friendly and approachable.
There was multiple sports ground, a cafeteria and libraries as well adding to the student requirements.
The overall college life was vibrant as multiple other extracurricular activities was organized from time to time.

Dislikes

The food menu was repetitive and be a lot more better.
Labs could use a bit more maintenance. Although, well equipped a few things was missing from it.
More practical is needed especially for a subject like agriculture.

Placement Experience:

The placement is decent and growing evey year. The students are eligible for campus placements from 3rs year itself. The highest placemet going up to 85LPA and the average placement package being about 6-7 LPA.

The faculty here is very helpful and they teach only realvent things about your course and they also provide you day to day notes and assingmemts for your daily prep

Dislikes

There is no such things that i did not like in this collage but if i have to say something i will go with the canteen service is very bad and not very friendly

Course Curriculum Overview:

On expericing day to day people and theirs pain in the muscle and joints . This made me decide why i should choose this course . The area which they need for improvement is if they give more attetion to some sports that will be very greatful for the students so that they can have some fun other study and stress. The timing of the collage is 9 to 5 and if you have any exam or practicals only then they call you on specific time and regular classes are off on that day duration of the exam is 1.5 hours

The management process I want to suggest to improve a little bit more and also laboratory security and class sitting arrangement.

Class arrangement and benches isn't comfortable
Thier is no proper class timing and the teachers absence during their period. . Others class coordination.
Teachers guide us throw them academy January for a main township and they teach us very well way of techniques

Placement Experience:

From 3 or 4 semester the students will become eligible for campus placement. Lots of companies and hospital employees come here for placement job . And take our interviews . They heir us give the job with good salaries .. above 60% marks students get placement with handsome salary. With a satisfying way . There is a lots of plan of mine to take a job in good hospital with good service and salaries with good staff with good coordination. To help patients to operate them and save their life as possible as I can do.

Positive Remarks - The faculties are really good and the fee structure is also feasible. In academics, our college is really good. Negative Remarks- Just have to work in infrastructure. And maintain it properly.

Oerfect college

I didn't apply to another college I just want to be a part of DAV College because of the structure as a middle class family was good second and thought about MKP but the environment was to unhealthy as compared to DAV. I didn't get any rejection from any colleges because I get good marks in 12th but I want to be a part of DAV so so I choose DAV. The admission admission process was simple but you first you have to clear cut exam and 12th exam board with good marks now you have to go to the campus main office so you can get the exam form and online you can also apply there will be some cut off and if you are general you have to be get good marks because SC ST OBC will get reservation also...Read More
