Review for ICFAI Business School hyderabad

The course curriculum is really just not focused on bookish learning but its much more beyond that as they follow a case based study approach where all the cases are harvard based which makes the students aware of what has happened in corporates and give a better picture.

There are many companies with different roles for finance, marketing, operations, hr etc like KPMG, Delloitte, RVNL, Amul, Gray quest, ITC, Morgan stanley, JPMC, Novartis etc They come with stipend of min 5000 per month for 3 momths and maximum of 60k per month.

The placement of this college is nice as compared to other B schools with an avg package of 15 lac and highest of 37lac. Also the course includes a mandatory summer Internship program(SIP) after completion of 1 yr ie sem 2 where the college placement committee is helpful by providing many different specialization based Internship opportunities

The year wise fees is 10lac for 2 yesrs of program which comes to 20lac in total including hostel mess and every other facility. They offer a scholarship worth 2lac for the students taking admissions through IBSAT entrance test.

Overall the infrastructure of thr college and hostel is good as it provides every facility the lecture theatres are having digital screens which are helpful in learning and also there are cricket ground, football, volleyball, basketball court, gym and swimming pool in campus

The hostel facility is nice as it provides single room occupancy for boys with an option of either attached washroom pr common washroom. For girls there is same option as above for boys and also they have option of twin sharing with attached washroom. The room size is decent and comes with a bed, wardrobe, chair, study table and also a balcony

I choose this college for its studying approach which is unique as it follows harvard case based method of teaching and secondly the campus life at hyderabad is worth experiencing as it will include academics along with extra curricular activities

The faculty member's are very supportive and nature and always try to make student's learn not only for exams but also help them prepare for corporate world. The exam System for a semester depends on the credit pf courses if its 3 credit course it will have 2 unit test and 1 project which carries 20 marks each and will be scaled down to 50 marks and remaining is 100 marks end sem exam for each sem which is also scaled down

The selection criteria is Group discussion round followed by personal interview. The topics were general news based and current trends based. It consisted of 25 marks GD and PI for 25 marks and the written entrance test for 50 marks scaled down .

The hangout places are quite decent, talking about food and restaurants there are many of them just across the road which are quite affordable and provides a range of menus from dhabas to proper restaurant, tea stall, everything and city is just 18km away from here
