Remarks

Some things needs to be change as the parking lot. And the building should be repaired. Also a big internal hall should be made. The principal should meet the students every week in the assembly.More CCTVs should be installed. Otherwise its a great college in a small town like Ranchi.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum is simple. There are 4 honours paper and 2 subsidiary paper and a language paper either Hindi or English in the first 2 years and in the last year there are 4 honours paper and a environmental studies paper. Every year an internal exam is held between the finals. Final exam is taken at the end of the session. Marks are separated between practicals and theory paper.

Placement Experience

3

Our college doesn't provide internship but yes it has some good placement records. Many previous students have got good package through campus placements. Many local and national companies come here to give placements.

College Events

3.5

Every year many events are celebrated in our college. Sports competition, a college fest take place every year. Our college also take us to an educational tour every year. Our college also take part in inter college tournaments and science exhibitions.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I can say that the fee structure is feasible. Each course has its own fee structure. For example- Physics honours has 20000 fees and vocational courses has 30000. Also every caste group has their own structure like Gen category has more fee than the SC/ST or OBC.

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't know about any loan/scholarship offered by our college but yes. Scholarship provided by the state govt. to ST/SC and OBC students help them to complete their studies. About 90% of the fees is provided in the scholarship.

Campus Life

2.5

There are labs for the respective course. For us there is a computer lab having about 80 PCs. Also there is a sports ground where cricket and football tournament occurs. Also there is a basketball court.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, the senior students help us in our studies. Many Alumni students has made our college proud. Some Alumni students are Sumrai Tete (Captain) Women\’s Team India-Hockey, Bimal Lakra, Team India-Hockey and Mahendra Singh Dhoni Team India-Cricket.

Admission

I firstly filled the application for the entrance exam. Then I got the admit card and then passed the entrance exam. After passing the entrance exam i submitted my documents and a fee of 30000 for a year to get admitted.

Faculty

4

The faculty is good. Every subject has its own professor. The professor takes special care of the weak students and encourages the good students. There are some young teachers and some old. They don't burden the feel of studies on students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually my branch is Electronics and communication engineering but my major interest lies in development area , i have gained all the skills in my college by my own taking some guidance from the seniors as they are very helpful and supporting. Improvements in course curriculum could be like they have to basically add one more course or any training program to help students for making skills and teaching them for their placements.(apart of the course , i am saying not because i am from ECE department , its common from any branch student)

Placement Experience:

From 9 th semester onwards students of our branch become eligible for campus placements. Companies like VISA, Microsoft come there with lucrative offers. The highest and avarge package are quite impressive. The highest package is nearly 50 lakhs while the average is nearly 12 lakhs. Nearly 50-60 percent of students get placed with some getting multiple offers. After getting degree I am planning to secure a good job through campus placements.

Remarks:

The reason I chose this college was that it was considered the best private engineering college in Jharkhand. Also, it is located in a city where there are a lot of opportunities for an engineering student that is Jamshedpur, Ratan Tata's homeland. Also, the placement is better than the other private colleges. This year, the maximum package went upto 10 lakhs which is a good amount of money I guess.
