Course Curriculum Overview

5

I would rate 10/10 for this course curriculum as it covers all the major aspects in the field of computer science and Engineering and it is having the clear fundamentals as they are the stepping stone for the advance levels. the curriculum prepares us for the real world applications as they are having all the programming languages that are useful for our future and useful for advance topics. the curriculum should be improved in the intermediate levels as it looks like ols school syllabus. The frequency of our exams takes place every 6 months and we are having 2 mid exams like for 3 months we have 1 mid exam so total 2 mid exams in 1 semester. the mid exams can be cracked easily but the semester exams are bit tough but with proper revision we can clear them.

Placement Experience

5

The placements in our college are very good: -From the 5th semester you will be having the campus placements in which the 3rd year students will be eligible and 4th year students -The companies visited till now are Aizant, Infosys, HCL, RammGroups, Accenture, Cognizant, so as of now these are the companies that visited our college and the average packages was around 7,50,000 -The Highest package was 13LPA which was given by RaamGroups, for the software Engineering Role and the lowest package was 4LPA which was offered by HCL for the Role of Trainee Analyst -Around 30% of the students are getting placed on an average -My plan after getting degree is to pursue the M.S in USA.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees i pay yearly is around 110000/- in this it includes all the library fees , lab fees and etc. There is a variation in the fees structure to my batchmates as they come from caste reservation and some are paying 65000/- also per year depending on when and how fast they took admission. There is no scholarships or financial aid available

Campus Life

5

-There are so many annual fests and the technical fests , recently we had a technical fest in which we have the blind coding, speed coding, Debugging and etc they are typically held for 2 months . -There are good collection of books and journals available in the library and all are the high range books and they are easily available in the library -We have the projector and the 75" MAXHUB screen which will be used to give the presentations and the classwork purpose and also we have good lighting and Fans facility. -As there is no any of the sports or extra curricular activites offered in our campus. -Yes, we run the social groups and student portals which will be helping the students to access the any of the journal or to get the information about the whats happening in the campus

Admission

I have choose this college becasue it is in my budget and i got the course which i was searching for in the afforadable structure. Yes i have applied to the various different colleges but i have been rejected from that colleges. the admission process in our college is so easy that they all the documents like 10th , 12 th memos and some of your personal identities and that's it. The eligibility exams for our college is EAMCET in which you should get the rank of below 30000 and you will get the seat in this college. the most preferred exam is the EAMCET. The overall admission experience was smooth and good.

Faculty

5

The faculty in our college is very friendly and they don't hesitate in clearing our doubts and the teaching is also excellent and there is no gender discrimination in our college both boys and girls all are treated equally. I like the Mathematics faculty more as they have high knowledge in their subject and solve all the problems easily. The Web technologies faculty is not good as she is lacking the knowledge in the subject and she cannot give the proper expalanation of the topic. so our exams are like we have 8 semesters in our entire 4 years, each semester takes place for every 6 months , we will be alloted the exam centres and we should write the exam, As our college is affiliated the exams are bit tough but with proper revision we can clear the exams easily , most of the students pass the exams but the some people are lazy, The course curriculum is so much relavant as comapared to the different courses.

Night Life

5

The nighlife around our college is very nice and we have so many Tea shops, cafes, Restaurants etc and also gym to provide fitness and in the evenings we have the 60 feet road and we can have the nice evening walk with our friends. -Hostel Timings are 8:30am to 9:00 pm -campus timings are 9:30 am to 4:00 pm -The famous hangout places inside campus is Cafeteria and outside we have the Cafes to hangout -The safe locality to roam around is we have 60 feet road surrounded by cafes and restaurants is the best palce to hangout and roam.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like that the course doesn't feel outdated. Along with the regular subjects we spend a lot of time on coding, projects, and problem solving so it feels connected to what companies actually expect. As a second year student i already feel like i am building skills that i will be able to use during internships and placements and not just preparing for semester exams

Placement Experience:

No batch has graduated yet so there's no record of placement data yet. But more than 200 students got internships. Also the unique point of NIAT is students gets internships from their 1st year itself. NIAT has connection in the industry also its unique teaching style, this allows 1st year students to get internships. Although there is no pass out batch yet, still many people got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals, meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Placement Experience:

The placements are comparatively more in this college, as there is more industry exposure. Students are eligible for placements from around 3-2 (3rd yr-II sem) to 4-2 (4th yr- II sem). Companies like Amazon, Cognizant, NCR often visit the campus. The highest package offered last year was 1.2 cr (International offer). Around 90% students who were eligible got placement. My plan is to get a decent package after the degree.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams
