Remarks

The college is located in a very beautiful place near shimla and also a good climate in whole season. The campus infrastructure is very beautiful. There is a separate life inside JUIT where you don't know what's going around the world as it's in a isolated place.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is quite good. The academic staff is very good and teachers even focus upon GATE. There are 3 exams held in a semester and 2 practical exams. It's compulsory to give all the exams as marks are counted for each.

Placement Experience

The placement and job opportunities are quite good. Almost 470 out of 500 students are well placed. Yes our college also provides internship in biotechnology with no stipend but the labs are one of the best.

College Events

Murious, Parakram, Le-fiestus, R&D expo, halla bol. And many other fests are held every year in our college. A separate jayee youth club and many other clubs are there like Rotaraact, omega leo, IEEE, crea tech etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It's feasible in comparison to other private engineering colleges. The fees is to be paid per semester and it's around 90k+ 45k including hostel and academics. The mess and laundry fees is included in hostel fees.

Fees and Financial Aid

No I didn't get any scholarship. But yes they are available specially for Bhutani's. If you are a good cgpa holder from the very beginning and your family income is less then they offer you scholarship.

Campus Life

Extracurricular is quite good. A very good basketball court available and also for table tennis and badminton. The college wins in many inter college tournaments. In hotels also table tennis facility is available. The labs are in very good condition.

Hostel Facilities

8/10. There are 4 hostels available for students. 3 for boys and 1 for girls. A separate hostel for 1st yar boys. There is a common mess available. It teaches students of both sex to mix up quite well with each other.

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna

The senior stuDents are very helpful. They guide you in the correct path and also try that we don't do the same mistake as theirs. The seniors become a good friend of yours. Hangouts even together. It's quite fun to be with the seniors.

Admission

I got admission through my Jee Main rank. I had filled an online form and then I was called for counselling in JIIT NOIDA,sector 62 where I was granted my seat in JUIT, solan. I always wanted to study in such a beautiful campus.

Faculty

The faculty is hard working and friendly. They clear our doubt very easily and no matter which ever time we go to ask them. They. Never say a no and always welcome with a big smile. Even in tutorials the teacher personally keeps a check on everyone.

Lack of auditoriium so most of gathering will be in open air theatre

The placement opportunities at my college are average. A few reputed companies visit the campus each year, but the number of offers and salary packages varies depending on the branch and market conditions. Students who have strong academic performance, technical skills, internships, and good communication skills generally have better chances of getting placed.

Likes

HODs of the college are good and well experienced as they are retired or done there masters from government colleges
Principle is also highly educated and good human being

Dislikes

They take lot of fees and not provide quality education
The infrastructure is bad and poor , no mentainance at all
Charge unnecessary fee , no computer lab , poor library, poor labs no equipment

Course Curriculum Overview:

They just teaches you to complete the syllabus only There are 1,2 term exams (MST) in a semester Honestly they repeats the PYQ but they fail all the students except few who gave answers in class and are their favourite

Updated to align with NEP-2020 guidelines starting from 2023 onward. CSE (AI & DS) branch includes modern subjects like Data Science, Machine Learning, Python, Cloud basics. Core branches (ECE, ME, EE, CE) follow standard Indian engineering frameworks with essential subjects. Syllabus similar to other govt engineering colleges under HP Tech University, so fairly up to date.

The faculty and staff are well qualified appx. all are phd .
The junior senior interaction is good .
There is good coding culture and all senior all helpful .

Dislikes

Area of college is 15 km from una city .
The curriculum us hectic in each semester it has atleast 6 subject.

Placement Experience:

My college offer above good placement . About 85-90% of the eligible student get placed with median package of 9 lakh and average of 11 lakh . Our placement incharge is Nistha Hooda. Highest placement is of 60 lakh and minimum is 4 lakh

The college campus is a pretty nice place to explore and it's beauty will make sure to bring you close to nature
Noone can get bored by the interesting assignments you get during your course

Dislikes

Many of the infrastructure and basic requirements are lacking
There can be more educational tours for students
More attention needs to be paid towards the career guidance

Everyone know that agriculture is of great importance and it's worth is increasing on a daily basis and opting for this course helps to learn various scientific methods to allow in the improvement of the traditional farming methods. With the help of agriculture extension.. these technologies are provided and being taught to different farmers and stakeholders. This course also allows us to get the practical knowledge by different field works.

i like availability of nice infrastructure amid the beautiful valley of shimla and also practical knowledge as heavy flow of patients is there.
a lot of patients are there thats why easy for students to access things
faculty is also nice they are doctors so learning from their experience come in handy

Dislikes

cafeteria needs to improve as there is no availability of variety in food
some people tend to take upper hands because of authority
due to large batch size some students tend to be hidden among masses

I loved the beautiful view out here the different varieties of flowers, Greenery , this university also held many kinds of club like socal club, eco friendly club and many more
I like that this university always take care about nature beauty they grow many trees for oxygen
They also serve society provide basic needs to poor people also running a club for poor people donate them food, shelter and clothes

Dislikes

I don't like the faculty of this university like they never co-operate with childrens they come and complete their duties and go
They only take care about there repo they don't care about students here half of the boys drink alcohol they just ignore them and move to next
Teacher have no sense of talking with students they behave like trash I'm very disappointed with this university at first they show their image like a clear paper but after entering there i came to know the real image of this university

Course curriculum is zero they never show any kind of efforts in teaching our exams were going on and one subject teacher just send notes and said Learn it and write exams like she never attended class not even one class business studies teacher just come teach give homework and go and next day come and ask questions if students don't know answer just say them to get out from the class is this the way to talk with students they are not their servents never ask if they have any kind of doubts and maths teacher just write question and their solution and read that solution students come here to learn something but they behave like trash

I like the campus, there is greenery all over the campus.
Sports and cultural clubs and the festivals
very good wifi facility in the campus. And good gender ratio in institute

Dislikes

Climate is hot during summer. But winters are appreciable
Mess food is not good that much.. but we can eat.
Sometimes in hostel there is non availability of water . In bathrooms

I chose this course because it has more scope in India as India is a developing country. It also has government jobs more than other fields. We can shift to it sector this is the flexibility of this course.

JUIT- beautiful place

I applied in thapar, jiit, juit and Manipal. I got admission in all of them but I chose juit. I didn't go to jiit because my parents thought that environment of juit would be better. Also they were a bit hesitant to me living in Delhi for my graduation as people are very young during graduation. Didn't choose manipal as juit was better in every aspect other than placements. I had got admission in Jaypee noida but in 128 sector and also stream was IT which I didn't preferred so I left that.
