Course Curriculum Overview

i would rate the course curriculum 8/10 in terms of relevece nad comprehensive , the computer scienvce is well rounded witha strong face on core areas like data structure AI ,ML along with practical learning through lab and projects .

Fees and Financial Aid

the tution fee for the per year is 1 lakh ,amounting to 4 year for 4 year duration , accounding to fees catagories 100000 per year and 4 year for 400000. from scholer ship we are getting 17000 per year .

Campus Life

campus life is vibrant with festival like spectrum ( febrauary) and innovtech ( october ) offering technical and cultural engagment , the library provides access to books and journels, wifi sports facilities and student clud like the coding club and cultural society .

Admission

i have applied to many colleges but got seleccted thorugh KSET fro this one , for my catagory i am eligible for a schlarship that supports OBC need which healps reduce the financial burdens , the shloarship will be provided annually

Faculty

the faculty to student the ration is 1:20 , faculty members are approcable willing to help students outside of the clas hours. prof rajesh : interactive teaching method prod shamala : her lecture were ofenly unstructured making it difficult Internal assessment , end semester exams practical and projectworks

Night Life

night life aroundthe campus is low key with student at the 24/7 hostel rooms or near by cafe . The gym and library close by 9 pm cafeteria shutby 10 pm , late nifght activities ofetn included group study seesion or casual hangouts .

Is NIAT worth the hype? My honest student review

Likes

You actually get to do things instead of just listening to lectures
The learning environment feels quite active
We have good exposure to the tech industry

Dislikes

The workload can get too intense sometimes
Not everything feels like a traditional college experience
The overall cost is a concern as it is a bit high

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the NIAT curriculum around four out of five. In my opinion, it is good that the curriculum is not only based on theoretical studies. The inclusion of coding, projects, assignments, and practical knowledge is quite engaging for the students, as they can apply the acquired information in practice. Additionally, I find the curriculum up to date compared to the standard Btech syllabus, which mainly focuses on theoretical background. However the curriculum could have fewer assignments, as some of them are rather time consuming and require additional study to achieve a better understanding of a particular subject.

I liked the environment of the college and the way the lectures teach the students.
I enjoyed my friends and subjects in college.

My Honest Review of My College

Likes

The Opportunity for Sports is very Good as there are many games available.
Support for the new project ideas and building them
The environment is very Greenish and is beautiful in every season

Dislikes

The Curriculum is very hectic and also the students face issue in keeping up with curriculum.
Not All teachers are convincing, as some of them don't deliver the concepts correctly.
Washrooms usually don't have water in here, especially in the morning

Placement Experience:

- The students become eligible for placements from the 6th sem itself. - There are lot of companies ranging from Samsung to Infosis to TCS which provide a package ranging from 4LPA to 34LPA. - Highest Package (This year): 34LPA and Lowest is 4LPA. - Students placement stats: Around 80% students get placed - My plan is to get into a good Product Based Company after my degree.

Likes

The coaching here is good but one thing is you need you cope up
Transdiciplinary project centric learning
Hackathon programs are conducted monthly once by different sectors

Tha fest here is not too good... not a expected

From 2nd year they give placement training..mostly from 6th sem they allow us for placements this year the highest paid is 54Lacks per annum mostly 90 percentage of students gets placed my plan is to for a good job

faculties can be easily approched for doubt solving
seniors are also friendly and quite helpful
labs have sufficient infrastructure, in proper working condition

Dislikes

teaching is mainly in regional languange
placements are about 40 to 50 percent, placements in core is bit difficult
correction for core courses are tough, .

campus placements is pretty good, from 6th sem students are allowed to take placements pretty good companies like synopsis, qualcomm, samsung and many other top requirters do come for placements. there are few people who even with backlogs have placed so it depends on the student capabilty to get placed.

KSIT - A good college with everything mixed level.

Likes

Good teachers, very friendly & teaching is good.
Easy to travel due to multiple transports.

Dislikes

Small infrastructure as the area is too small.
Not have ground to play when students are free

Placement Experience:

The on-campus usually starts in 6th Semester. A company called MathCo was the first company it came for the role of analyst. Around 5-7 people got selected. The average package would be usually around 4-4.5 LPA, but highest package was 6.25 from PlanetSpark for role of Sales. The percentage is nearly to 10-12%. After degree, get a job and work for atleast 2 years for learning current trends is my basic thought as of now.

ya the overall infrastructure is good and company placements there was well wishers in that time
teaching is not what i expected but good
mentorship quality is ok,faculty expertise is ok ,profeeional department is medium

Dislikes

they where strict and needed some cultural event for every month of one year
they dependent for notes in their classes where this is not i am interested
they will call for the phone for every wrong things to tell their parents

Course Curriculum Overview:

the curriculum was not inflenced by the decision and where the choosen course was clear and academic marks was good the teching methods need to be very friendly and didnt strict to be done so where then its superb the timing of exams is correctly done and perspective for the difficulty level appliction speceific for the students in their real wor examples
