Course Curriculum Overview

3

Artificial intelligence, seems like a no brainer after the boom in the industry. Everyone in the college as in the faculty and management are actually very supportive. The curriculum is designed pretty good with a hands on experience. The examinations are a way too much but that's just for this year as they have started the academic year a month late and are trying to finish the same time as every other college. The mid internals are easy to moderate.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees was based on eamcet rank scored by the students as in there were few brackets for specific ranks, I have scored a rank around 50k and am paying 230000 per annum which excludes the caution deposit of 20000 and admission fees of another 20000 . There are lower fees for the ones who scored a good rank in eamcet , the fees went down till 1,50,000 and 3,50,000 is the max. Since this a private university there are no reservations. There are no scholarships however they might consider the upcoming year. This is the first year for this college.

Campus Life

2

There are little to no sports only recently they have constructed 3 volleyball courts and also there are around 4-5 table tennis tables available. The club activities are pretty good the nss club , coding club , eSports club and arts club. Events rarely happen and are mediocre at their best. The campus is fully wifi enabled except the labs in the third floor , there are projectors in every classroom which all the the faculty use to teach. The library consists of all the academic books required and a little more.

Admission

This was the only available college at that time which was taking in admissions. It was pretty late by then and this is the only college that was accepting admissions as it got approval at that same time. I didn't qualify for jee or BITSAT so had to suffice for state colleges. Sreenidhi University accepted only eamcet scores for their fee brackets but lowered the bracket by 1 if the student has scored above 90% in their boards.

Faculty

4

60 students in a class around 8 faculties for different subjects (one for each). I personally hate all the faculties but the word among the students is Shiva Maram for C++ teaches good and Dr.Chandrashekar Bhalla for Math is exceptional. There are 3 mid internals in the first sem , out of which 2 are mandatory and the third can be ignored if you've done well in the first 2 . Mid paper is of 40 marks and 10 marks for assignments. 50 for internals and 50 for externals. 2 internal lab practicals in first sem.In total we have 50 marks for internals and 50 for externals

Interview Experience

3

There was no test for the entrance since the college got its approval to be a university late. They took in solely based on eamcet/jee and the marks scored in board examinations. It was a pretty straightforward process. Fill the form , pay the fees , submit your certificates that's all. However this is 2025 batch they are conducting an entrance test for intake of the students.

Night Life

1

I'm a day scholar so I don't know much of these details but I know there aren't any spots near the college. It's somewhat a remote place with nothing to do around and there is literally nothing on the campus to do.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like that the course doesn't feel outdated. Along with the regular subjects we spend a lot of time on coding, projects, and problem solving so it feels connected to what companies actually expect. As a second year student i already feel like i am building skills that i will be able to use during internships and placements and not just preparing for semester exams

Placement Experience:

No batch has graduated yet so there's no record of placement data yet. But more than 200 students got internships. Also the unique point of NIAT is students gets internships from their 1st year itself. NIAT has connection in the industry also its unique teaching style, this allows 1st year students to get internships. Although there is no pass out batch yet, still many people got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals, meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Placement Experience:

The placements are comparatively more in this college, as there is more industry exposure. Students are eligible for placements from around 3-2 (3rd yr-II sem) to 4-2 (4th yr- II sem). Companies like Amazon, Cognizant, NCR often visit the campus. The highest package offered last year was 1.2 cr (International offer). Around 90% students who were eligible got placement. My plan is to get a decent package after the degree.

Placement cell is least active.. Few good companies like Infosys, amazon, TCS etc visited but the average package is of 1-2 LPA and only 25-30% of students whose all exams are cleared can sit in the placement cell. The highest package is of 8LPA. My plan is to move abroad for higher studies.. The students after completion of 6th sem can sit in placement cell

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams
