Remarks

I can only see the positives mentioned above.Yes the negative is the cost or fees but it's anyday worth paying.

Course Curriculum Overview

Covers all the topics as mentioned in the course as per DG SHIPPING. Which includes both theory and practical both.

Internships Opportunities

The College does provide internship based on the onn campus selection by all the reputated companys coming for placements. The internship is provided onboard a ship with an average stipend of 500 dollars.

Placement Experience

The college provides and guarantees for 100 percent placement for their cadets on passing. With all the big companies coming for placements before you receive your degree.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Expensive. It's around 15 Lakhs for the course. But the returns are also fast unlike in other professions. Plus the facilities and quality of knowledge the college offers it's worth paying such a huge amount.

Plus the college also offers various scholarship for top 40 students in the semester offering cash prices. Also the College offers various scholarship for cadets Who are not well to do with financial background.

The facilities for all the above mentioned is perfect. The labs has all the equipments relating to the subject that too in working condition and for the individual not in groups.The sports facilities are also too good with all the sports available and stuffs provided to the quality.

The college ambience is perfect for studying with AC class rooms. Library equipped with more and Lakh books including e-books. The campus covered with Wi-Fi. Mess within the hostel. Laundry facilities. Canteen and stationary both within the campus.

Alumni/Alumna

The college has its alumini meets at regular intervals. Plus there is a group on facebook and various social network sites. In case of trouble or help there is definitely a positive response to the earliest.

Exam Structure

The exam structure includes three tests in a semester of 6 months. Staring with the mid semester 1 after 1.5 months. Followed by mid semester 2 again after 1.5 months. N finally comprehensive exam or the final semester exam. In between number of class tests and practical exams are included for continuous assessment of the Cadets.

Admission

Firstly the form was filled. Followed by a test n interview. Den on the cumulative marks of my test. Interview. N board results. I was shortlisted for medicals. Once done I was selected.

Faculty

It's has a mix of young and expierenced faculty giving students a blend of knowledge regarding the basics and the current developments in the industry.

Likes

Infrastructure is so good of this college yeah the campus is not that huge but the way the managed the infrastructure is so good the auditorium of the college it is best
Faculties of the college are so good they are not rude they all have PHDs and all are so good at their own subjects
Girls to boys ratio are also way better than other engineering colleges you will see 30 girls and 40 boys in a classroom

Dislikes

The area near the college is so bad means there is slum behind the college
The college have very strict rules for the events
College have not provided any hostel facility near the college, college have hostel but it is 40 min away from the college by local train

Placement Experience:

You will be eligible for campus placements from 7th semester once you have done your internship. There are various companies that visits college every year like TCS ,Works Application, Uniqlo and Amazon Web Services etc Highest package offered was 37.5 lakhs and the average package is 4-4.5 lakhs Every year around 60-70% students are placed in this college I am planning to have masters in IT.

The reality check

Likes

The college professors are very particular about attendence and they will always keep there eye on your attendance and according to them attending is very important.
The college infrastructure is very good and there is vast space for students to chill and study library is also very spacious.
The teachers are always eager to solve our doubts and interact with us , the want the more and more students should approach them ask there doubts and discuss the syllabus etc.

Dislikes

I didn't like that sometimes over priority is given to the attendance I think a student can study well at his or her own sometimes only regularly attending lectures can't make you score more self study is important
The college don't have big ground earlier there used to be a big ground but it has gone for the construction work so, we only has a turf and a small ground.
The approach towards the teaching should be changed slightly and more practical based learning should be included.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement start from seventh semester and from third semester only students are enrolled in TPO Training and Placement Organisation where they train students withe various technical skills to acquire a good job. Various famous companies visit our college. Highest pakacge is of eight lakh per annum by Nice solutions. Percentage of student getting place on campus is less. After degree I will do a job.

Awesome college life during graduation

Likes

College was newly constructed so infrastructure was quite good.
Teacher's teaching was great as we were 3rd batch
Teacher's used to pay attention to every single students progress.

Dislikes

It was specifically much far from main city
Teacher's were very strict like used to call to parents if students are not present in class
Not much placement companies came to college. Placement rate was not so great

Placement Experience:

Placements for my college was not so good they had provided some companies which has came to take interviews but hardly fuse students got selected and higher number of students had place through consulting agency and they were place of campus even I also did not got placed through college and I had job through off campus. In all, 35 students have got placed via college placements and out of those hardly 20 students join the companies wear in they were placed.

Mit aoe has good faculties and teaching and academic are good enough
Not too crowded as intake is 1300 students of the college
Gender ratio is almost 4:3 as of my batch

Dislikes

Mit aoe Campus is very small hardly 4 to 5 acres
Mit aoe fees is costly comparitively to the other colleges
Mit aoe Campus is almost at the edge of pcmc makes hard for traveling to the main city

Placement Experience:

I think students are eligible for internship from 2 nd year and about placement it is nice with the comparison to others like Sinhgad ,marathwada and alll companies like jsw,cisco ,eq technology and many more are visited in placement cell

No no college is really good and the no suggestion for that
The environment of the campus and the quality of infrastructure is a very much good that's for not a any solution for that

Nothing bad about this college it is an a good college that can provide the good opportunity for student

Likes

I like the staff of mechanical branch. They are good at teaching.
My colleagues are good and helpful. Also supportive..
My seniors are great mates and not a single Case of bowling happen.

Dislikes

The canteen of my college is basically trash.
The Xerox shop is very small and always has a rush.
The aesthetics of the campus is not That appealing.

Placement Experience:

Our college gives in campus placements for students in the final year. Our college also has a great reputation regarding the placements giving higher packages to students. The average package for mechanical branch is 4.5 lakhs which is fairly decent considering it's a tear to college.

Location of college is best near to juhu beach.
Placements of college is good also internship opportunities are there
Teacher's teaching is average but their behavior towards students are good

Infrastructure of college is bad, need to renew also there is so much pigeons in college
If you want to work on your professional development, college will not much help you, you have to build it by yourself.
My personal experience in this college is boring and mostly I experience difficult to make friends may be the reasons because it is only girl's college, but it depend on person to person

College provides Placement opportunites, Average placement is nearly 4.5laks. College will help you after the graduation for one year for the job opportunities if you didnt got job in final year. there are 25+ companies visits in our campus.

One of the best colleges in Maharashtra

Remarks:

Focusing on student's attendence rather than focusing on students concepts. College is not focusing in development of students only paperwork is done. No conceptul teaching nor practical. By doing this stuff we can get a btech degree but not the knowledge a btech student should have.

A review about my institute

12 th pass with 60% in pcm and 50% in English. 10th pass. You can find the application form on the Tolani Maritime Institute website. Application fees is 1500. It depends after the imucet examination. First candidate need to appear for the imucet examination and then after when he or she passes the exam with good rank than that individual he she can apply the form for tolani maritime institute which is available on the tmi website. Reservation doesn't happened here according to me. I exactly don't know the reservation process. See according to me there is no need for any improvement in tolani maritime institute. one thing they can do is that they take their own examination namely tmisat and after that interview takes place but the interview was online and according to me it should happen offline and also physical test should be there because there are so many candidates who are not physically fit.
