Course Curriculum Overview

4

I had chosen the AIML course. The main reason of the choosing of this course was increasing of the AI in the different aspects of the management and in the development. The curriculum has prepared by the Jntuh. It include the projects that are needed to perform in the time of the curriculum. The curriculum and the teaching methods are completely different. The semester period is 5 to 6 months and the exams will conducted in every two months in this allocated period.

Fees and Financial Aid

In the starting of the course i was opted to join in this college and in the joining in this college they were asked to pay 45000 for the confirmation of the seat and when I was went to the college for the submitting of the certificates they were asked to pay 10000 for the library fees. And the semester examination fee it is 2200 for each semester and the books fee 2000 for each semester. And in the second year they were asked to pay 50500 as the 45000 college fee and 5500 for the miscellaneous fee. And the CRTfee was 6000.

Campus Life

5

The classrooms are provided with the Smartboards and the every class room is enabled with WiFi and every smart board is connected with enternet. The students Can access the books in the library by the card that provided by the management. In our college student's from the higher classes runs the social groups called "street cause mrits" and "mrits NSS". And when it comes to the sports, it was the one of best thing that I have experienced by joining this college. The students who are interested in the sports they can achieve.

Admission

Initially when I wrote the entrance exam EAMCET and in the first phase of the admission process I got placed in the CBIT with EEE but I denied to join the college due to im desired to do the AIML course. And in the second phase of the admission I got placed in this college. The reason that I have choosed this college among the another colleges due to the fee structure in this college is quite be handled by the our family. And the admission process of the college is simple there are two ways to join the college 1. You need to write the entrance exam like EAPCET and another way is directly you can buy the seat in the management quota.

Faculty

4

In our college the faculty is having a good relationship with the students. And the ratio of the students teachers are there are around of 2900 of students and there are around of 50 of staff. I was most liked faculty was when I was in the first year and first semester there was a faculty of c language professor. He teached the subject in the way of spoon feeding. He explained the subject very well. In each semester there are two mid examinations and two internal lab examinations and one external lab examination and one semester examination. The exams are quite hard to compete.

Night Life

5

There are lot of hanging spots near the college especially in the late nights . Mainly is the coffee shops near the college. Many people around the college comes and visits. There are gym also provided in the college.

Placement Experience:

From 4th sem itself students are eligible for placements. Although students get access to paid internships from their 1st year itself, just they need some effort. But as NIAT is yet new and no batch has passed out yet so we still don't have the exact placement percentage rate. But as we are getting paid internships from 1st year itself so it's very evident that placement would also be good

No batch has graduated yet so there's no record of placement data yet. But more than 200 students got internships. Also the unique point of NIAT is students gets internships from their 1st year itself. NIAT has connection in the industry also its unique teaching style, this allows 1st year students to get internships. Although there is no pass out batch yet, still many people got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals, meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Placement cell is least active.. The highest package is of 8LPA. My plan is to move abroad for higher studies.. The students after completion of 6th sem can sit in placement cell

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams
