Remarks

Overall it's combination of positives and negatives like any other university. It's just individual opinion based on his experiences. Positives are with lesser cost of living and good campus to live in. Negatives are the knowledge of few faculty, the power-play by officials and security guards especially. Food is not good. My rating on food is 3 out of 10.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

It's quite good and it's only getting better every year, I now feel jealous how lucky out juniors are to get hands-on session with real fighter aircraft getting practical knowledge. It's math and technology combined, math and the logical reasoning and interactive faculty makes it exciting.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, they do. The stipend money is not much, it was around 3000 INR depending on the student qualification and dept' he is interning upon. The experience is satisfactory and it suffices the basic needs, though not luxurious.

Placement Experience

4

The number of companies and students getting placed are in very large number, approximately 80 to 90% of the students. Similar to any other University, IT and Software comapanies, TCS and Infosys top the number of students hired.

College Events

4.5

There are many events held for various departments. The list goes like this Kuruksastra ( mostly fun event ), Daksh ( tech ), Colosseum ( sports ), Events from SEDS and Maths club is quite often and couple of fests each year will be held from each department ( Mechanical, Electrical, Computer science, Bio-technology, Law and Civil )

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is not expensive. Though the fee will be incremented by 5% of first year base fee every year, It's not expensive when compared to what other Universities impose. It's around 50,000 per semester for the first years, When i passed out. We had 45,000 per semester.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is a scholarship with which we can avail the mess fee for an year. This adds up to 3500 INR per month which is 35000 INR for 10 months, taking 2 months off, due to vacation. Apart from that there are few facilities they provide based on merit list. There is a Dean merit list where you get scholarship of few thousands if you top in your department.

Campus Life

4.5

They are reasonably good. If the comparison is with some top Universites, it's not upto the mark, but if comparison is with larger number of colleges spread all over the country, locally, it's quite good. Sports events are conducted every year. Though the facilities and encouragement is not good, it's okay for students who spend time with sports are refreshment. For players with ambition of excelling the sport, this is not the right place.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

They are good. No Air-Conditioner facility. It'll be hot in summer. But, the ventilation and basic requirements will be of no issue. Water being a troublesome aspect. Of course, It has become a menace all over the country these days.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students are friendly and supportive in any college, only thing is the way of approach matters and alumni network is reasonably good. It's twice a year, depends on other factors as well. The faculty are approachable with alumni when needed.

Exam Structure

There are 3 Internal exams for each semester, out of which 2 will be chosen, depending on which combination gives maximum marks out of 50. The rest 50 marks are from external final exam at the end of every semester. Labs work quite differently, where marks are awarded to experiments and record submission, followed by final lab test. These scores are converted to grades.

Admission

They consider the national-wide JEE MAIN and Advanced scores, along with 11 th and 12 th standard scores. Good score in either of them gives a seat, else both combined makes second category which also gives chance. With the demand for this University is growing every year, 980 in 11th and 12th standards is good score and 180 or 200 in JEE would help.

Faculty

4

They are quite good. They are interactive and friendly with students, except a few who try to use their power on students and exercise language bias to some extent. Apart, they are knowledgeable and PhD candidates.

Placement Experience:

Placements are generally decent, with students becoming eligible from the final year. Several companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in technical and non-technical fields. Packages vary by company, and placement opportunities depend on skills and performance. Many students secure jobs, while others pursue higher studies or competitive exams.
