Curriculum are very good and designed well ..which helps to understand the subjects with the help of lab work and practical ... That leads to understand the real life problem facing in core are sector ..Exam are approximately held in 3months gap they are moderate level

Total year fees will be paid 15332 as (tution fees Rs.7600) + annual fees (7732) Annual fees included all other fees (development fees + lab fees ...etc.) Batchmates are studying in college are belongs to many categories as they are paying their respective category fees Scholarship are available for students . Campus Life

Campus is good , small and greenery spreaded everywhere , Annual fest tech fest are available in this college and also helps every year Books are available in library ..there are thousand books to read and learn ..class rooms are well equipped and well furnished

Hostel Facilities

There are three beds are available in hostels room and respectively each cubboard , each charging shocket point , fans are in good condition Mess food are ok . Hostel registration happen only after admission in this college but it is affordable as it costs 9500 yearly Room are present in villages

I applied to other colleges like of PPP mode , like Ramgarh engineering College, chaibasa college of engineering , some private colleges like UCET hazaribagh , but given as a first preference in state government college also I got it .. Admission in government engineering College palamu will be taken through rank of jee mains score ..

Faculty

Faculties are good in our college as they are supportive and ready to adress students ..they are really helpful and supportive Faculty and students are approximately 2 for each subjects in class There are two midsemester and one End semester exams In each semester ..course are relevant and connectied to real life problem which is good to understand ...that why it has very low fail ratio

Interview Experience

There is no any GD or personal interview questions taken admission It takes only merit rank based on general merit rank and category which the students belong admission in this college only through councelling which is held by Jceceb board of jharkhand

Night Life

Library is present in college , gym and cafeteria are not present in today's ..but will be available shortly Public area are present far away from college as it is present far from main city Campus timing is restricted form 7:00 pm to go outside from college Hangout places are present approximately about 8km ..

Campus location is good but there is shortage of shops.
Professor are good and supportive and you can keep bike sk questions whenever you needed.

Dislikes

Mess food is not so good and if you taking hostel it is compulsory to take mess
Transpotation facility is not so good and you

Placement Experience:

From third semester students are allowed for internship and about the placement is about 5 to 6 lpa .Many students here are preparing for government exam like gate ,ies isro ,barc etc. And if you are not satisfied by placement from campus you can try off campus.

At the starting phase of college , we have a beautiful campus (which is not ours actually , its on rent ) loacted at Namkum, Ranchi. known as JUT campus, but after that things are not good.
Some what I liked the sports culture, but we don't have any sports Club yet.

Dislikes

Placements(actually there are students who are the coordinators for the placement group , there is no any particular advisor or any TPO head is there earlier...now there is one TPO coordinator but things are becoming worst there.
No grounds for any sports, we don't have badminton court indoors, so we have to wait for wind to settle before we can play outside.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually my branch is Electronics and communication engineering but my major interest lies in development area , i have gained all the skills in my college by my own taking some guidance from the seniors as they are very helpful and supporting. Improvements in course curriculum could be like they have to basically add one more course or any training program to help students for making skills and teaching them for their placements.(apart of the course , i am saying not because i am from ECE department , its common from any branch student)

I like my college

Likes

I like their rules and regulation of college.
I like the annual sports, event, and cultural program.
Regular classes, labs, and time to time internal exams

Dislikes

Thing that I don't like is hostal cleaning, mesh food.
I think there is more rules and regulation for senior boys hostels.
From senior boys hostel they pass some comment to the girls

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course is the proper mindset from the class I chose to study btech. The areas for improvement in the course curriculum are more labs to be conducted proper smart classes to be held.

Likes

the return to investment in this college is very fair.
the infrastructure in this college is very good and still developing rapidly .
the fee is very affordable and the surrounding market is also cheap.

Dislikes

the reservation is very high and sc & st community gets so much advantage .
the college is located at outskirts of main city Dhanbad .
there is some sort of ragging culture which is also present here. Talking about the girls to boys ratio it is 25 to 75.

Placement Experience:

The placement stats of BIT Sindri is quite impressive because the core branch placement is too good . it offers around 90% placement to branch like mechanial , electrical , mining , metal. technical branch placement is also improving yearly.

No night canteen to both the boys and girls in the hostel

No night life the college...... Two much boring life

Infrastructure of the University is good enough and also going on for new building
Labs and machineries are updated and in good condition.
Non teaching staffs are helpful and genuine.

Dislikes

Administration make fake promises and discontinue.
Some staffs are egoistic don't think of any one.
Canteen food prices are not affordable. It is too expensive for middle class students.

Good university for those who want degree only not job as they will say 100 percent placement but never make their promises and yes they will also send you in depression so be strong and believe in your self.

Likes

the greenery of college campus is very nice
the environment of the college is very good
college library staffs are very well behaved

Dislikes

the faculty is not up to the mark , u will not be satisfied by their teaching
student intake is very very less so you will experience less competition
the college campus is beautiful yet very small

Placement Experience:

yes campus placement is offered . the average package is about 7 to 8 lakhs in C.S.E , the placement rate is about 90% for which above 7.5 CGPA is required . The placement rate for E.C.E and E.E.E are also decent .

Experience of an undergrad

Likes

college have great environment good facilities needed as per requirements ,college also have good spacious hostels and we can say better food comparing to what i heard from friends of different colleges ,the evening time is soothing and relaxing
a great senior junior interaction culture and memorable friendships letting you forget the world outside the campus, every festivals are celebrated with joy and fun ,from leaving a family to moving to another one you would love.
some of lectures are quite boring but some will amaze you with visionary thoughts ,every faculty will guide you if they see you lagging behind the course ,some extra sessions are also conducted, introducing new fields to think out of the box

Dislikes

things which i wish might get some improvements are sports facilities big grounds for sports activities students encouragement towards co-curricular activitiy, co-curricular activities get more support to come out with glorious and imagining skills.
fests do contain fun but due to time constraints before fests planning of amazing activities becomes difficult thus leading same things going on repeating, absence of good team leaders leading activities plays major role in activity failure and bored
night out time is a small problem, the area close to college is developing hence not having nearby much places for fun and chillouts spending your free time relaxing.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is average as during 2023-24 it was recession period all over the colleges are facing placements lags but still college students managed to achieve 22 lakhs+ off campus as well as 16 lakhs on campus placement.The college reached his highest placement of 51 lakh during 2023 ,the average package is 5-6 lakh and the placements percentage are 85 percent for cse students,the students completing 7th semester are eligible for on campus placement drive as well as off campus,some of the prominent companies visited are Microsoft, cognizant, samsung, byjus,infosys and 50 more.I will prepare for gate and after that i will try to get on and off campus placements which i will find better accept the offer.

I choose this college because it is 2nd state govt. College which is fully funded by state govt. .. Which reults the low fees struture of this college (which is more relief factor for students), always having support from govt. For any innovation ideas and startup idea and to fund rise for their projects. I applied firstly for state govt. College (having first priority) and got it . but many other colleges are present in jharkhand which run by PPP mode (Public private partnership) examples - Ramgarh enginnering college, chaibasa enginnering college, Dumka enginnering collegs, etc. Admission will be done in all college through jee mains score, by coucelling basis through jceceb board. Criteria for councelleing are as follows :- 1) students must be resident of Jharkhand 2) in class 12th students must be in minimum 60% 3) rank of state(both general merit + category) which is given after filling application form 4) cutoffs based on rank of students in which they are applied to colleges and their respective branches 5) admission will be going in respective rounds also cutoffs depends on it. 6) after gotting college in councelling, first have to pay security money to confim seat And take admission to their desired college in desired date by paying annual fees and tution fees of amount approx ~ 15000/- + all required documents which are instructed in allotment letter during councelling...Read More

Here is true facts about GEC palamu

Firstly I applied nit and bit but since the course I want is not possible to get there and about private colleges I prefer government engineering College because it is government and most important for middle class is it's fee structure.
