Course Curriculum Overview

I prefered this college because it provided me the the concept and the best learning with higher opportunties in this course regarding job releated. The exam level over the college and university exam is just moderate.

Class Size: 62Course Fees: INR 130000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fee structure of the course is around 130000 only for the semester fees.There is no admission fee charged in this college for any of the students .Even special benefit is provided to the student which belong to sc and st in their acadmeic fees.

Campus Life

There are total six clubs in this college with different activities and for the future exposure is also provided over here . The sports facilities is also provided over here with the training facilities

Admission

I prefered this college because it is having less fees in compare to other colleges and with the best faculty members .There is no exam for the admission process you can have the direct admission over with at good marks in 12 th.

Faculty

The ratio of the faculty members upon the students are 65:35 .Even the faculty members are having great experience over here.There are total two exams over the year with two internal MHTs are also included in it.

Night Life

The nightlife exposure in this college is just awesome specially for the students those are hostellers .The lostel timings for the boys is 6Am to 8Pm and for the girls it is 7Am to 6Pm The hangout places are various over here.

An honest look at campus

Placement Experience:

Students generally become eligible for placement from 7th semester, with numerous major companies like wipro,cognizant and various tech startups visit the campus with various offers. The university sees a high percentage of students getting placed.The package are widely depending on various skill and codes. Furthermore while the highest package looks impressive on paper, the avg package remains modest for the majority of the batch. My personal plans after getting the degree focus on exploring independent entrepreneurial ventures rather than tradition corporate placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

SLIET longowal has well structured curriculum as per new education policy with well structured labs. to prepare for real world, college provide funds for startup and also motivate students to gain industry exposure. Many improvements can be done in curriculum like integration of cutting edge technologies, smart board, digital labs. There are three exams per semester two minors which take place in month of august and september and major or end sem exam in month of october, the timing of exam was from 1 pm to 4 pm. the difficulty level of exam is moderate

Placement Experience:

Placements in lovely professional university is decent and dont know much about it as i am in 1st year only but there were mandatory Placement classes for all which you need to select in 1st year only for which you need to pay extra 20k for the classes.

Remarks:

Good staff are very nice and supportive nature. There are not any faculty problem. Functions are organized in a very large scale which is very good. Ragging are strictly banned in college which is very good for fresher students. BAD: lack of equipment and machines in labs. Lack of practical knowledge for students.

General Engineering College Landra: a balanced blend of academics, placements and compass life

I chose Chandigarh Engineering College Laundry over the other due to its strong placement record affordable structure and good industry connections first up I applied to Chitkara University and Lovely Professional University but found C see more cost effective with a well structured curriculum. I go to admission offers, I preferred CC for its better return on investment.
