The complete detailed review of Uttaranchal University

The course curriculam is absolutely fantastic. The courses provided have a perfect objective in the subjects and are completely career oriented. Teachers teach using projectors and latest technologies.

The placements in the college are very nice. The average package of placement is 5 LPA. But college has given a placement of more than 1 crore. Apart from these, college provide a varied ways of internship in both college and outside. The placement team is really helpful and they constinously work to get every company inside the campus for campus placement. Even they call a company for only one student. Percentage of getiing placement is 87 %. I have joined as branding Executive in the college itself.

Fees I'm paying yearly is 88,160. Tution fees - 25,650. Registration fees - 1200, Admission fees - 20,000, Student Diversity Scholarship - 2500. My batchmates who are from Uttarakhand itself pay a little less. They provide Sports quota, Defence qouta, NCC quota sholarships and also single girl child scholarship.

The overall experience in the college is really amazing. It is actually a campus full of exciting things like cultural events, sports ceremomies, tournaments, departmental and university level competitions in every genre. We have a good range of accessibility to books and journals which are present in the library. The use of technology in classrooms really help to learn and understand better. Specially the clubs and committees run by the students work great.

College has a very good facility of hostel inside the campus. There are four types of rooms like 1 seater, 2 seater, 3 seater, 4 seater with common washroom and also 2 and 3 seater hostel with attached washroom. Flats are also available for students in the campus only. The quality of meal is good with good taste. We have completely different meal for everyday and everytime for a week. We get 4 times a day. Registration process is very simple and are affordable. If the hostels are filled, we have PGs which are contract signed with the campus. And the locality around has a variety of rooms and PGs.

I chose the college firstly on the basis of the campus. The big green beautiful campus attracts everyone at first sight. I didn't got any rejection from any other college and was only stick to this university. The placements in the college also attract a lot. The admission is very simple. Most of the courses don't have any entrance or interview. But there is a counselling session before admission.

The ratio of faculty to student is very good. If we talk about the relationship between faculties and students I don't think so any other college can beat this. My favourite faculty is Prof. Dr. Shravan Kumar, Director of my department. He is a true leader with amazing teaching techniques. We have total 4 exams - 2 internal mid term exams and 2 semester exams in a year.

Most of the courses in the university have direct admission and if there are any with some criteria is a normal interview. The questions asked in the interview are very easy and basic. You don't need any extra preparation for clearing the interview.

We have gym, cafeterias, library inside the college itself. We don't need to always move out for any kind of need. We have classes running from morning 9.30 AM to evening 4.30 PM. Obviously we have continuous lectures daily. We get outing from hostel from 4.30 PM to 9.00 PM for boys Monday to Friday and 9.00 AM to 9.00 PM Saturday and Sunday also if there is any holiday on weekdays. Girls get outing from 4.00 PM to 6.30 PM on Wednesday and 9.00 AM to 6.00 PM on Saturday and Sunday also if there is any holiday on weekdays. We have many hangout places like Cafeterias, restuarents, tourists spots like Tapkeshwar Temple, Robber's Cave, Maggie point etc. near the college. And the locality around is completely safe to roam around at night even for girls also.
