Course Curriculum Overview
GCC has the best faculty members and has now become a brand in the market for Commerce graduates. The curriculum here is good but I feel it lacks a pratical approach and is based on more theory which doesn't really help us in the job
Fees and Financial Aid
Every odd semester we have to take admission and it takes approx 5000-6000/- and every semester we have to pay examination form fillup fees of approx 2000. So overall for 3 yrs we've to pay around 30000/-
Campus Life
Campus life is good too, we've various functions and competitions and seminars happening all year round. It boosts students confidence and helps face real world problems. Very renowned personalities are invited and we get to interact and listen to their experiences.
Admission
GCC is the best college in the north east for Commerce. I didn't apply to any other college because I was confident about getting into GCC and it has been my best decision since it is a brand and it will definitely help in the future.
Faculty
Faculty is very good and knowledgeable and cooperative. We have sessionals and finals. sessional is conducted by the College and finals get conducted by the Gauhati University. The exams are very important for the overall sgpa.
Night Life
Only thing I dislike about GCC is that we dont have a hostel for girls. library is quite huge and good amount of books are available, gym is open to all students. And the area is also quite safe for femals students.
