Course Curriculum Overview

3

The current course curriculum is better as compared to previous curriculum as there is better subject knowledge.there are more subjects introduced in this curriculum which is based on the real world.and the teaching methods also improved in this curriculum

Fees and Financial Aid

The complete fees for couse in ece is 115000 in the ace engineering college.the year wise I pay is 5500 in the college.while for the other batchmates it is 85000 with the reservation.for my category the course is free just I have to pay admission fee and registration fee

Campus Life

3

I mostly like the campus life in the college as the college infrastructure is attractive.there are more fests that happening in our college like freshers, farewell and codefest, festvita etc..the every type of the is available in the library

Admission

I choose this college as it came in crt exams.i applied more than 50 colleges for the admission and I got confirmed in the ace engineering college.i didn't get any rejections from any colleges I applied to.

Faculty

3

The faculty to students ratio is approximately 30:10and there is a better relationship with the students as they share their knowledge to the students.i like mr.sathish sir ex hod as he teaches the subject very uniquely.

Night Life

3

The night life in the college is beautiful I liked in the college.the favourite hangout spot is near the workshop as we make camp fire and enjoy.the campus timings are from 9:30 to 4:30.after the college ends we go to the gym and do workout and enjoy the night.

Placement Experience:

From 4th sem itself students are eligible for placements. Although students get access to paid internships from their 1st year itself, just they need some effort. But as NIAT is yet new and no batch has passed out yet so we still don't have the exact placement percentage rate. But as we are getting paid internships from 1st year itself so it's very evident that placement would also be good

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals, meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Placement cell is least active.. Few good companies like Infosys, amazon, TCS etc visited but the average package is of 1-2 LPA and only 25-30% of students whose all exams are cleared can sit in the placement cell. The highest package is of 8LPA. My plan is to move abroad for higher studies.. The students after completion of 6th sem can sit in placement cell

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams
