Remarks

No doubt teachers are supportive, unless students initiate they will not get to know and explore their talent. Also college time to time organise different events in different fields, so students have to grab the opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum in the college is mostly theoritical and students with the help of supportive teachers can implement the knowledge practically. And now with the new terms of university the curriculum has been advanced which will in turn be helpful to students.

Internships Opportunities

No right now our college do not provide scholarship, but are trying to bring different companies to college to provide internship to students so they do not have to go far for training and internship.

Placement Experience

Placements and job opportunities are one of the attracting feature of this college. Students from far away places come to this college to get a good placement and are never let down by the college. This college has maintained its legacy of being a top college in the overall north region.

College Events

There are a number of events celebrated in our college. Every festival are celebrated with same enthuzisam. Main event is 'PARIVARTAN' which is the annual techno -cultural fest of this college. Apart from that every department has its own technical fest.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is quite good as compared to other colleges in this region. With this fees and opportunities provided in the college, this college can be considered a good decision to study. Also the fees recession is given to different kind of students for their betterment and growth.

Yes our college provides scholarships to different students from different sections of society. Not only this but on the basis of academics also, students are getting scholarship.

Campus Life

Our college has ample opportunities in academics as well as extra curricular activities. With advance equipments and well equiped grounds for all games so students can take full advantage of everything in the college.

Hostel Facilities

College life without hostel are incomplete because college give us friends but hostel gives us best friends. Hostel is a place where we see everything together and share precious moments. In my opinion our hostel was amazing. Although there were some restrictions like timings and all but apart from that everything is good. also wardens are very helpful and caring.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network always proves helpful and for that college organises alumni meet from time to time to make students interact with different people and clear their doubts and make contact which may be useful in future to students.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is a bit hectic. Every semester has three MST and final exams at the end of every semester. Only the best of two are counted from MST which add on to the final internals of students.

Admission

This is a private institution where i got admission based on my +2 percentage. After this various scholarships are also there to different students who fall in different categories i.e. percentage or financial status.

Faculty

There are different faculty for every department with years of experience. Their nature is also nice and are always ready to help students. Also they make class interaction so friendly and easy to understand for students.

The infrastructure is great with state of the art labs and equipment
The library is really nice place to study
Lots of hangout spots in and around campus

Dislikes

Less opportunities for core branches as less core companies visit campus
75 percent attendance policy for classes
Very high fees compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

The Scholarship benefit is good when compared to other universities the fee is also not very huge.The Infrastructure of the campus was vast and there arelots of stall to purchase food items etc
There is a big mall through which You can get necessary items .In every hostel you will have departmental stores
The faculty was highly qualified. The Placements opportunities are also good The average was offered was 5-6 LPA.The Lpu newly Launched Education Revolution is very good for students

Dislikes

The mandatory 75% attendance policy for every subject.If you not maintain you will debar from End term examinations which is not all good
The Roads are not that much good .The roads are made of parking tiles instead of Thar
The distance between hostels and main gates are nearly 1.5 -2 km which not at all good .but there e-rickshaw they charge 15 rupees per person to drop from hostel to main gate

The course cirriculum changes every year by rapid changes happening due to AI The University has also launched a new school called School of AI and emerging technologies.from this every year syllabus changesand exams pattern changes .the difficulty of exams is increasing day by day.

There are 1 AC Lecture complex()LT with almost a seating capacity of 100-120 students, with smart screens and projector.
NITJ has well maintained 4 Girls hostel and 4-5 boys hostels with proper cleanliness and hostel staff.
They are 7 cafeterias in the Campus, including 3 Nescafe outlets,1 dominos and 3 regular canteens that serve food late night.

Dislikes

Wifi and connection issues in the hostels
Slow response to emails and late approval to applications
The ICE department faculty is quite strict. Tough grading system and administration.

Placement Experience:

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

Distance of travelling coz for me its too much far

- Limited campus opportunities were available, and most students become eligible from the final year. - The average package was around 2-5 LPA. - after my degree my plan is to improve my employability my strengthening my technical skill in my domain

Good infrastructure, campus and faculty. Have to improve placements and industrial visits.

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

The sports and the various facilities that they provide for relaxing
The Library that remains open till 10-11 at night for those who wish to study till late

The hectic schedule and curriculum that the students have to follow.
The lack of certain facilities that would help the students improve thoer personalities
Too much strictness and restrictions with everything that someone wishes to do

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum

I chose Chandigarh Engineering College Laundry over the other due to its strong placement record affordable structure and good industry connections first up I applied to Chitkara University and Lovely Professional University but found C see more cost effective with a well structured curriculum.
