Remarks
The best remark for college is that it makes you disciplined and extremely punctual. Tye college timing is 9am-4pm and exactly on 8.35 the gates of college are closed. Even faculty members are not allowed to entered after that. I have seen my hod also not getting to enter the college for being late. Attendence is compulasary.
Course Curriculum Overview
As the institute at my time of studying was under RTMNU( nagpur university) it was following the course that was designed by the university. But now the college is under BATU( Babasaheb ambedkar technological universitiy). Tge course which is thought now is quite similar to that of nits.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, the college helps the candidates to find internships through the college contacts and also personal contacts of faculty members. During summer vacation around 4-5 weeks of internship is compulsary for all the candidates in their respective feilds.
Placement Experience
The college provides ample placement opportunities both closed campus and also open campus. The student after passing out also are in contact with tye placement team and are placed after passing out also. Big names like ashok leyland, amazon etc hire students for various profiles.
College Events
A lot of technical, social, cultural events are conducted in the college. Admist the hectic schedule of college the various events act as refreshment for them and also helps to develops skills other than techical and improves personality of the student. The events are mostly organised by the students. The ideas are also of students, for coordination a faculty members helps the students.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees is very feasible. The reservation category candidates study for free as their fees are paid by the goverment. The obc candidatespays 50% of the fees. The open candiates has to pay the full fees but they can apply for ebc concession in which 50%of fees is refunded to them.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college provides loan assistance in terms of giving the documents required for loan procedure but generally as the fees is not too much candidates do not opt to go for loan. Scholarships are purely given on merit basis.
Campus Life
There are a lot of extra cirricular activities and also each department has its forum so all students has a chance to showcase their talent and leadership ability. Labs are well equipped. A server room having more than 100 computers is present in each department and tge college has 6-7 departments. Also the technical labs such as of mechanical engineering and electrical engineering are also well equipped.
Hostel Facilities
College is not too far from the city. Just 20 kms and it is very near to a village called Fetri which is adopted by Maharastras cheif minister mr devendra fadnavis. So in the village there are ample facality for accomodation and from that villages the college bus picks up students and drop them to college for free.
Alumni/Alumna
One of the best alumini network. All the senior are very helpful. The college organises a meeting every 6 months to ensure that all the students get to know about their senior passed out studnts and it also opens a gateway to the placements and internships also.
Exam Structure
Exams for BATU students are conducted in the college itself. The college students are trained very hard and university toppers are produced every semesters. Nowadays exam pattern has changed for the betterment with various things kept in mind and BATU sends the question paper to the institute.
Admission
I followed the procedure which was prescribed by the DTE. I got my documents verified fron the arc centers and then filled up the option form and in the first merit list I was alloted this institution.
Faculty
Faculty of the college including tge principal and directors are very frank and they are extremly supporting and if they find time they will come and enjoy with you but are very strict in following the rules and regulation. Discipline is must for them.
