Course Curriculum Overview

3

The curriculum is something that I am not a fan of specially for my department there are few topics and experiments that are been repeated and that is something that I don't like except for that the other factors are good there are proper CO and PO mapping

Placement Experience

4

The placement in our college is good and not just placement cu make sure that if the students want to persue higher education students gets into government and other prestigious university across the world Cu have its connection with University across the world and they do offer semester exchange and other facilities

Fees and Financial Aid

In 2023 the semester fees was 98000+ 2500 examination fees and there is an online exam CUCET which is held in 3 phase phase one is from January to May and second phase is in June to September and the last phase is October to December and you get scholarship according to your performance in the exam in phase one you get maximum scholarship and it keeps on decreasing in phase 2 and 3 and every year the fee is increased and for hostel in 2023 it as 120000and it also increase every year

Campus Life

5

The campus life of CU is one of the best that you can get every day here some or the other events happening and there are so many different clubs that you can join accordingly to you interest and the fest every thing is just so perfect the concert to the activities to the event just wow

Hostel Facilities

2

Hostel is quite expensive for the facility that is provided as we have to pay 120000 per year for a 4 sharing room and the washroom is also common and the food is not that good it's very average though the menu is different everyday but the quality of food is very average

Admission

The main reason why I have chosen Chandigarh University over any other colleges is that there are very few college that offer BE biotechnology and Cu is one of them and the placement ratio is very good the infrastructure is also something that have attracted me and overall it's safe

Faculty

5

The faculty members are highly qualified all the faculty members of my department have completed their phd and every faculty have there own way ir style of teaching and they are so good at this in classroom they are strict but after the lecture they are like your friend they guid us in all expect of life from personal to career

Night Life

4

The night life of the girls hostel is not so happening as we have to be inside the hostel by 8 and the gym also close at 7:00 but if you want you can go to library and study there till 10 and it's very near girls hostel and the cafeteria also close by 8:30 next about famous hangout place there are so many you can go to cafe in mohali or Chandigarh if you like hills you can always to go to solan and kasauli as it's 2-3 hrs from the University and it's very safe for girls as well

Placement Experience:

Students generally become eligible for placement from 7th semester, with numerous major companies like wipro, cognizant and various tech startups visit the campus with various offers. The university sees a high percentage of students getting placed. The package are widely depending on various skill and codes. Furthermore while the highest package looks impressive on paper, the avg package remains modest for the majority of the batch. My personal plans after getting the degree focus on exploring independent entrepreneurial ventures rather than tradition corporate placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
