Likes
- Labs are good and include all the equipments needed. Easy to understand experiments.
- Staff is good and well trained. Every Teacher is capable of handling a class of 70-120 students with ease
- Campus is good for studies but too small for functions and sports
Dislikes
- Uniform issue. Not everyone was told there will be a uniform and the staff is forcing everyone to wear college uniforms
- Infrastructure is not one of the best. Campus is too small and no sports facility.
- Tests every month. It's difficult to complete the entire syllabus with 1 week long test series
Course Curriculum Overview
We are taught some subjects which are not at all necessary in CSE field like- Manufacturing, Mechanics, electrical, graphics, constitution, values etc. Due to a lot of subjects it's difficult to study the ones important to us like programming, analytics, physics and maths.
Internships Opportunities
Delhi Technical Campus provides internship opportunities inside campus add a part of its curriculum. The campus also hosts placement drives and career development seminars. Students can gain practical experience in their required fields.
Placement Experience
Placements are decent in this college- Average package is around 5 to 7 lakhs per annum. And this year the highest package was around - 23 Lakh per annum. Companies select students through Indraprastha University rankings.
Fees and Financial Aid
College fees is - 1.56 lakhs per annum (excluding transport and hostel) Transport is - 45-55 thousands depending on the place. Hostel is around 1-1.25 lakhs per annum Exam fees is- 3500 per year Uniform- 6000
Campus Life
This college has many kinds of clubs like- dancing, technical, hackathon related, data analytics etc. Majority of these clubs are handled by students of 2nd and 3rd year. No sports facility and the campus is too small for frequent events. Till now only events celebrated here are Freshers party, Diwali mela and dandiya night. Extracurricular activites are almost nil.
Admission
I got selected in this college in Indraprastha University counseling and therefore selected it. I applied in other colleges like- Galgotias, JIMS, VIPS and TMU. We can get admission in this college with management quota in fields- Btech- CSE, arch and BCA.
Faculty
Faculty is mostly fine and professional. They professionally handle a class of around 100 students and doubts are cleared. Not all the teachers are good though. Some teachers like- Sarita mam, Deeksha mam, asha mam, Rakesh sir are very friendly. There are exams every month and they last for entire week. It's difficult to complete syllabus on time and the exams are usually tough
Interview Experience
There was no written test during the admission. It was only counselling that selected the students based on their JEE mains ranking. Students were selected through Indraprastha University counseling and boards marks.
Night Life
It's not a very safe place to roam at night. There are barely any market complexes in this place. Only colleges and some small shops. Gyms and cafeterias are there. No public libraries in this place. No hangout places inside the campus. There are a few malls in 10 km radius of the college. There are many hostels outside the campus for students from any college. In campus hostels are not very good
