Course Curriculum Overview

The course or curriculum is very outdated.It needs constant updation but as per 2024 scheme it has been updated so the first year students could learn two programming language in first year itself . 1 year involves 2 internal exam and 1 semester exam.

Internships Opportunities

The college provide many internship. The faculties are very encouraging on providing internship. The college conducts many seminars which provides insights on internship. It is compulsory to attend a internship as per new curriculum

Placement Experience

Many companies visited the college like TCS,wipro etc.Student can sit for placement from S7 onwards.The college provides excellent placement training which boosts the confidence of the students.I plan for higher studies after my course completion

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid 40000/- as course fees.Other than that there are various other fees which include caution fee, registration fee, development fees,lab fees and other compulsory charges which came to a total amount of 60000 rupees The college provide many scholarship for OBC,SC/ST,and single child girls

Campus Life

Campus life is poor.College provides many clubs like IEDC, IEEE, Mulearn which contects various hackathon and events.College is very enthusiastic about sports and other events related to sports.The faculties are very supportive for football and cricket tournaments for both girls and boys

Hostel Facilities

Each room provides accommodation for 4 students.Each student is provided a cupboard and a study table.Each floor has a shared washroom for each year.The food is satisfactory.Three meals and an evening tea snack is provide each day.There are Many pgs near the college too

Hostel Fee: INR 4000 per year

Admission

For to get to this college one will have to write KEAM(Kerela engineering and medical entrance examination) which is an entrance examination for engineering and medical course all over kerela.You get a specific college as per the mark and rank.I got this college as per my rank and marks.

Faculty

Faculties in the IT department are very sincere and qualified for their job.They are very dedicated in teaching.They provide good doubt clear section.They provide technical insights and helps us grow our individual reasonings and skills

Night Life

The night life in college campus is not existent.There is little to know night life.The curfew for ladies Hostel is upto 7pm.The college provides Btech degree for working professionals upto 8pm.College does not provide any gym but there is a gym down the college

Good life memory

Likes

College ambience was too attractive. Friendly atmosphere ആൻഡ് very nice hidden spots and food spots inside the college
The faculty was too supportive and encouragive nature that was also in studies and extra curricular activities also that be very kind of them
There is not only aim to study but also encourage the extra activities. The management was also very supportive to students and also the faculties.

Dislikes

There is very strict to attendence. There was not to bunk the class every hour there will take the attendence and there will be absent they autimaticaly send sms to registerd phone
There is too many exams and assignments that will be little bit problem for students
Canteen facilities little bit bad in my college life time. There was not that much food veriety

Placement Experience:

From 6 th semester onwards campus placement taken. There was coming in bcs, infopark, wipro, etc. Companies are mainly appeared and also many other companies came select many students. The main companies take students in cutoff 8.5or9 cgpa. And some other compnies take students they have backpapers.

Likes

The overall environment here is great. Students coming from different backgrounds make us more capable of meeting new people who have different ideas and that makes things easier,apart from achieving technical greatness ,curtain clubs are here
These clubs gives opportunities to gain new skills and to showcase our existing skills, sports clubs are also present which will help improve skills in sports
Cultural clubs , technical clubs are also present here to aid in your interest

Placement Experience:

Upon reaching s7 students are invited for campus placement but they have to pass different criteria to become eligible for attending the interview, a minimum cgpa of 7.5 and academic skills a these are the basic requirements and an aptitude test will be given and in further selection these criteria are looked. I plan on pursuing a job after completing by btech. More than half the students in a batch are getting placed usually.

Likes

college provides nice venue good study environment
provide library facilities and lab facilities
provide internet facilities like wifi and average classrooms

Dislikes

It is so far from the main road a lot to walk

Placement Experience:

Students can get internships from First sem. Students become eligible from 7th sem for campus placement . The average package begins from 15000/- to most highest package of 25000/-. The percentage of students getting paced is 20-30%.I have been planiing to go to higher studies.

Likes

Campus, comparing from nearby college this college had good visual beauty may be because of the college been part 2-3 movies. Visually the college are too good with nature

Dislikes

The Placement is weak as there is no opportunity to get a proper core based job from what you studied mainly job opportunities come from call centres which doesnt require Btech to study. This personally felt too sad to be here to get placed in core.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As of the college comes under Ktu syllabus it has already has demerits of the university. Curriculum basically doesnot provide a realworld application uses. Just creates a knowledge on the course (and thats doubt) We need to courses outside the college to get the core jobs outside

The college provides a good atmosphere to truly get a job in the competetive world if we are willing to work for it.
They heavily monitor attendance to make sure that you take your classes so that you perform well in your exams
The facilities provided by the college are good as there are several labs and workshops for hands-on experience

Dislikes

The campus life can get boring and it feels like we are in a rat race.
Some teachers can be a bit apathetic towards the students.
The number events that encourage social interactions in not many

Placement Experience:

The students are elegible for campus placements from the 7th semester and almost all students get placements provided they don't have any subject yet to clear at the time of placement. There are several companies that visit the college for recruiting including but not limited to TCS, CTS,etc,.

The campus is a package pf greenery and the culteral events conducted there are good at the end
The faculties are good and maintain a decent teaching style
The sports activities are well maintained here

Dislikes

The hostel mess and the food is a bit not good from my opinion
The hostel doesn't have adequate wifi to accommodate the entire strength of students residing there

Yes the college is providing placement facilities and the College has its own placement and industrial relations wing that is said to study about the current industrial requirements and provide the adequate amount of training for the students
