Likes

In our college we have TPC(Training and Placement Cell) which is really unique from other colleges. And in our college students will have separate sessions on apptitude as their curriculum, which is not in other colleges.

Dislikes

There is no such thing which i didnt liked in our college.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have choosen AIML beacause ,as we see today AI is replacing everything in every domain even in healthcare . In our college curriculum there is just introduction to AIML which is lacking in real world applications. I could suggest to give more depth knowledge on these areas .

Internships Opportunities

Our college provides Salesforce vitual internship for 3rd years , and Accenture internship and other companies. Students will be selected as software engineer intern roles mostly. In our college we will be having mini project and major projects where students has to implement their ideas.

Placement Experience

In our college placements start in 3-2 semester. Companies such as Accenture, Infosys, Wipro ,TCS,etc... are visisted our college for placement offers. As i obseved 80% of students will get placements till they pass out.

Fees and Financial Aid

Actually for our year the college fees is 110000 anually, as i studied intermediate in govt. college i am getting full fee reimbursement.As my frnds told that college fee is increasing anually and currently for our juniors it is around 120000.

Campus Life

In my experience our college is best in all areas. Our college conduts tech fests branch wise annually or twice a year. and there will be a college fest yearly. In library there are enough books to read and the environment in library is also good enough.

Hostel Facilities

The facilities provided in our hostel are good comparitively from other hostels. Mess food is moderate sometimes it is not much good ,but its good enough from other hostels. Hostel fee foe us is 90000 but is 96000 for our juniors and it will be increased yearly.

Admission

I applied many other colleges such as VNR vjiet ,JNTUH, Narayanamma,etc.. But according to eamcet ranking i got this college. At first i have 0 knowledge of this college, but after joining i felt happy because the college management is good enough in taking care of students, mainly TPC team are the pillars of the college to get placements to the students.

Faculty

There is enough faculty in our college. Mostly they are enough experienced in respective subjects. In our college I liked Hemanth sir who is much experienced in apptitude and teaches well.Not only me but lot of people like him.His teaching style is unique from others. In our college for each semester we have mid term1 held after one month from sem starting, and after 2 months of mid term 1 we will be having mid term 2 and lab internals and externals and at last semester exams. As of my experience the papers are not much tough and not soo ease . They are moderate.

Night Life

In our colllege there is open gym where students can spend their time. And also we have cafeteria where students can have their lunch, snacks etc.. Our ground is very relaxing and beautiful enough to chit chat with friends in leisure hours.

Life of an graduating person

Likes

Teaching was very good as compared to other colleges and faculty members have 8+ years and upto 20+years teaching experience and totally digital teaching method through smart board with PDFs and PPT's and the infrastructure was very good.
College is totally 7 blocks with a spacious ground and greenery around the college sand there is also campus hostel and bus facility available and learning facilities also very good with well furnished labs .
The curriculum is also better for professional and personal development and the placements services are very supportive for career advancement

Dislikes

The things I disliked are the timings of gates closing in morning session and there is no chance of going outside in the lunch hour .
Sometimes faculty doesn't explain some topics they will skip the topics to sit simply in the classroom with teaching
The security guards are very strict and they directly take id cards of students if they misbehave anything .

Placement Experience:

3-2 semester students will become eligible for campus placements and the companies visited are tech Mahindra, cognizant ,cap gemini, zentek, tcs, etc some of the top most companies also visited our college for placements and so many students have been placed in the companies with a good package there is almost 78% of students are getting placements in this college

NIAT - where learning and growing is fun

Likes

The teaching style and focus on practicals
More emphasis is given on coding and attending hackathons
Mentors and their constant support In building projects

Dislikes

The strict rules and pressure is real and can be frustrating sometimes
The infrastructure can be a bit better, like the building and space for games
There's very less extra curricular activities

Placement Experience:

From 4th sem itself students are eligible for placements. Although students get access to paid internships from their 1st year itself, just they need some effort. But as NIAT is yet new and no batch has passed out yet so we still don't have the exact placement percentage rate. But as we are getting paid internships from 1st year itself so it's very evident that placement would also be good

Building Skills Beyond the Classroom

Likes

The coding culture is the best thing about NIAT. There are very frequent coding competitions that makes students actually learn things and improve their skills.
The faculty members are very knowledgable and supportive. They are also very friendly and helps everyone when in doubt.
The curriculum is totally updated and new. The use of latest technology and AI is very much focused on. Also provide internships from 1st year itself

Dislikes

The strict rules are a bit too much. The pressure is real and becomes difficult to deal with soetimes
There are hardly any cultural activities or programs. All focus is given on coding and tech related programs.
Its still new and no batch has graduated yet so its kind of difficult to record the placement rate

Placement Experience:

No batch has graduated yet so there's no record of placement data yet. But more than 200 students got internships. Also the unique point of NIAT is students gets internships from their 1st year itself. NIAT has connection in the industry also its unique teaching style, this allows 1st year students to get internships. Although there is no pass out batch yet, still many people got placed in good companies.

Remembering College Valuble Insights Feels so memorable being a final year student.

Likes

As i joined into marri laxman reddy institute ,The campus is in a village bakcground it feels so nice to live over their .We do have several sports commisions in our college.
Our college provides sports facility and The campus was so hugee ,The infrastructure is very useful(i am talking about digital teaching lab equipments and all)
The teachers were so friendly with the students and the college has a perfect strcture category for every department .

Dislikes

The teachers were so nice but the college and teachers doesnt support student to enhace the student personal growth.The teachers were take the class by learning the ppt without any conceptutal representing
The infrastructure is good but thier is no maintainance in the college,Campus feels huge but it degradss interms of maintainance and enhance the campus intemrs of neatness .it feels so that after we return back from the holidays
Most importantly,the canteen food is worst.My friend face an incident that he got a dead frog in the manchurian rice.And the food is most coastly maintains low quality

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals,meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Likes

Things I liked they won't charge if they put any event,annual day, they will only charge for farewell that's common l thing in every college they don't show any biased over girl or boy , they won't restrict if boy and girls sits together
They kept more events in 1st year we used to attend them

Dislikes

They stopped keeping events after 2nd year
Lecturers are particular to there subjects like they taught CN subject for 2nd year the same lecture is teaching other subject in next semester
Security watchmens are so strict than clg management

Placement Experience:

Only 4-1 students are eligible for campus placements Name of companies are infosys, concentrix, foundever, teleperfomance, Sutherland,uts etc in that only few members got opportunity to join in that companies. Highest package is 3-4lakhs All the companies which were came to our clg placements are based on call center types only infosys is IT side remaining all companies came us to take for the roles bpo industry voice based roles and non voice based roles My plans after completing the degree to search for the job

Yeah our clg faculty is so Supportive and knowledgeable
Our college good environment and good interaction
Our clg has better infrastructure like labs and library

Our college doesn’t conduct events frequently
The major one is placement opportunities should be improved
And also adminsrative process is slow sometimes

Placement Experience:

Campus placements start from final year. A few core companies and bulk hiring companies visit with average packages , overall placement percentage is average . So I plan to build more skills and purse better opportunities after graduation

For the campus placement firstly we need 75% attendance and good behaviour and no remarks on us and we should pay 24000 separately for development of skills ,and next interview is up to us only. We have many mou like sap ,ibm ,inttelipath also

The faculty of the college is quite good
The college is in the middle of city which helps a lot
There is compulsion for 75℅ attendance and the college is open gate

Dislikes

Infrastructure is very poor.. Buildings and classrooms, benches, and computers used are very old
No sports and other extra-curricular activites and no provision for canteen
Campus is very boring.. Toilets are not clean.. The admin staff is very rude

Placement Experience:

Placement cell is least active.. Few good companies like Infosys, amazon, TCS etc visited but the average package is of 1-2 LPA and only 25-30% of students whose all exams are cleared can sit in the placement cell. The highest package is of 8LPA. My plan is to move abroad for higher studies.. The students after completion of 6th sem can sit in placement cell

Nice college but lot of improvements are required

Likes

The faculties are highly knowledgeable, understandable and are helpful in studies and they even mentor us in some important aspects.
Course curriculum is perfectly designed to prepare for any competitive exams that a student may be appearing.
There is not much academic pressure on students. They have ample of time to prepare for any competitive exams.

Dislikes

Management by the college and the faculties are not good
There are not much companies visiting campus. Majority of them are either for non-technical roles or are mass recruiters.
Campus crowd is not good for growth for any serious student.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams

Faculty will clear all your doubts whenever you want.
Organising social events and taking us to trips.
Faculty encouraging students to participate in various technical and social events.

Dislikes

The equipment in laboratory was not proper.
The faculty were not well trained and experienced.
Not taking us to industrial visits and sessions.

Placement Experience:

The training criteria for placements for students starts from third year.The top companies like IBM, Amazon, Microsoft, Accenture has visited our campus.The highest package offered was 20 lpa and average package offered is 3-4 lpa.50 percentage of the students will get placed in third year if not they'll get placed in 4 year.My plan after graduation is being a software engineer in a high profile company.

I choose this college over other colleges because the infrastructure and environment whichh more likely to me . The main aspect to choose is the faculty and placements in this college. I have applied in bhojreddyy womens colllege of engineering ,Mallareddy college of engineering and some more colleges near to my home and also based on placements in that college. I didn't get chance in that college because of my EAPCET . The admission fee was 10000 after the counseling un eapcet. To enter our college the eligibility is the students who completed thier Intermediate and qualified in EAPCET. Who are not qualified can also enter through mangement ....Read More

I applied for other colleges as well like top 25 of them but couldn't make it there due to my rank in EAMCET For sure there are better colleges elsewhere but this is decent in look wise We can take admission through EAPCET counselling & management quota which is 70 & 30 % respectively Cutoff of this can be caste wise But the cutoff for this college is constantly getting tough As one of the student received 46 lakh package...Read More

I applied to amrita university in coimbatore and also attempted the entrance exam. But I could not join because of their fee structure and was also very distant from my current location.I have also written jee mains and advanced exams, but I got seats very long from my location.As a girl student, my parents feared my safety and could not join those colleges.
