Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course curriculum is good, it includes everything that an engineering student needs and it also includes the web3 syllabus. Courses in fields like AI machine learning, data science, IoT, and blockchain are regularly updated to reflect the latest advancements. I love the course and syllabus of this university you learn a lot.

Internships Opportunities

2

university places not a strong emphasis on providing practical exposure and industry experience through internship opportunities. Although the university has a dedicated training and Placement cell that facilitates internships for students across various disciplines.

Placement Experience

2

Every student depends on the mass company. The interesting thing is that they charge an extra 8k for that. If you pay 8k, you are a TPP student, allowing you to sit in placement. Otherwise, you are a non-TPP student, and you don't get any benefits. The average package is not more than 4 lpa, some good companies also come such as (nutanix, DBS, Palo Alto, amazon, etc) if you are good at studies you can grab it.

Fees and Financial Aid

per semester fee - 95000 examination fee - 2000 (yearly) caution money - 2000 (one time) placement fee - 8000 (one time) - only these students can sit in placement. scholarship - 20 % (yearly) - condition if you maintain your cgpa more than 7.5

Campus Life

4

The overall campus experience is awesome. Every month any Punjabi regional actors or any Bollywood actor comes for their film promotion. The university has more than 15 buildings and the most interesting thing is every building has its own library and there is one central library. Every classroom is a digital classroom. Students run social groups, clubs but one joined because of lack of guidance

Hostel Facilities

4

The university offers a variety of accommodation options for the student, including on-campus hostel facilities and assistance with rented accommodation off-campus. 27*7 wifi connectivity laundry services, Ac or non-ac rooms regular housekeeping

Admission

The admission process at my college is very easy anyone can get admission, you must be 12th pass even if you get 40% in the 12th, you can easily enroll in the Computer science discipline. They just need money that's it. I applied to PEC ( Punjab Engineering College) but I didn't get Computer Science in PEC, that's why I joined CU.

Faculty

1

The faculty-to-student ratio is (1:40). The faculty-to-student relationship is good but they don't know anything, everything you have to do yourself, they provide you with PPT. Every semester has 1 final exam (semester end), 2 mid-sem, and 2 surprise tests. Exams are very easy or if you don't know anything just fill in the answer sheet, you get good marks that's it.

Night Life

5

The university nightlife is very good. There are also gym facilities and good cafeterias which is open the whole night. There is no timing for the boy's hostel but the girl's hostel have timing that is 9:00 P.M. Central Park is the famous hangout place inside the campus.

Placement Experience:

Students generally become eligible for placement from 7th semester, with numerous major companies like wipro, cognizant and various tech startups visit the campus with various offers. The university sees a high percentage of students getting placed. The package are widely depending on various skill and codes. Furthermore while the highest package looks impressive on paper, the avg package remains modest for the majority of the batch. My personal plans after getting the degree focus on exploring independent entrepreneurial ventures rather than tradition corporate placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
