Remarks

Positive and negative both remarks is there as there is not a big space for playing more outdoor games and for visiting outside market we need to travel min 3km far and for positive campus is in that space where no noise pollution

Course Curriculum Overview

Course is all about shipping field and it is of 3 years course and this is also a technical field course which is also based on engineering with 24 hours good library and that is enough for this course

Internships Opportunities

Yes, they provide internship as i did internship in SOFT shipyard which is quite good for internship in gujarat and have good practical knowledge and also providing stipend of 5600 rupees which feels good

Placement Experience

As our batch is the 9th batch of this course placement through campus is for those who have never got arrear papers till last semester and every year 4 companies as because only 30 seats for this course in this University

Yeah every year there is some events from head quarters lastly we participate in CULTURA and also NAUTICA every year and every festival is celebration is there in this campus no partiality related to casts

Thats expansive as because i have this course whose fees 6 lakhs for 3 years but shipping field is highly expansive related to other course or campuses so beware of this fees is so quite high in this course

As i said earlier if you got top 3 rank in this course you will get 1lakh ,75000 ,50000 scholorships providing by imu headquarters and nearly State Bank of India is providing the loan facility to this campus students

In extracurricular activities computer labs is provided with 120 systems and for indoor games all provided like carrom,tt,chess and for outdoor badminton, volleyball, basketball space is there but for cricket is has less space

If possible to show the picture of hostel then will must show its in indias biggest manmade island whose hostel infrastructure is excellent and facilities is also prividing with mess and stationary shop

Yeah, thats quite helpful as i know about this campus from one of my relative's who passed from this campus and got placed in dubai shipyard with starting 60000 monthly placed and now salary got increased

Exam structure for semester exam yeah thats helpful for knowledge and every 4year pattern goes changes and for getting good job pursuing good marks tends to got the scholarship also which is quite helpul in further studies

By applying Common Entrance Test (CET) which comes generally in the may or june starting 1st week exam and after qualifying this exam we need to council this from official website of imu and further procedure explained in website.

THE IDEAL COLLEGE LIFE!

The opportunities to meet new people and interact with a whole new circle of people by Club Activities as there are quite a lot of clubs according to the student's interest.
Many places to showcase our singing and dancing talent once we join the club or take part in any of the department events.
They have multiple labs for a single department so that the students get a lot of hands on training for coding and as well as hardware.

Dislikes

4:3 Ratio of Girls to Boys in my class and i hope it's the same for all the departments as well.
The college timing can go from 8:30 AM to 5:10PM.
The 75% attendance is kind of doable and maintainable to an extent.

Placement Experience:

about 70 to 80 percent of the students get placed afdter the colleg and the ones not placed also gets placed after the college with high network and communication from other contacts within the college, ZOHO Corp does take placements and i am preparing for my CAT exams as i am planning for My highers at IIM, 5th semester is when the students become eligible for the campus placements and the seniors are a good connection who help to get places and get a job after the completion of degree.

Teaching methods of marine faculties are excellent but in my course they add some additional subject like tamil and hindi which are useless and no neede for a mariner as the marine faculties are good in teaching and explaining but they also having difficulty in teaching as the requirements didn't meet from the college management
