This college is among the best colleges in Chhattisgarh. Each and every individual gets ample amount of opportunities to excel in different fields.Apart from mess food everything else is really good in this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is a bit old but the way it is executed throughout the year is very good. The professors do their job very well to implement the curriculum plan and the students too follow the curriculum well.
Internships Opportunities
No. But the college provides with the letter of recommendation to apply for internships in other organisations. Students can apply for the recommendation letter and it is issued typically within a day or two.
Placement Experience
In past few years the placement scenario was not very good in the college but, in the year 2018-2019 the placement cell has worked really hard for the betterment and the results were also satisfactory. Around 400 students appeared for placements in previous year out of which 240-250 students got placed.
College Events
There are a number of events which are held. Ojas is the technical and cultural fest which takes place every year. BITCON is the annual conference which is held every year.Apart from that many smaller events are conducted by different activity clubs.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is one of the best part of this college. The semester fee is only around 35000 rupees which can be paid online or using bank chaalan. The semester fee has to be paid in single installment.
Fees and Financial Aid
The branch openers of each branch get a scholorship. Other than that no other scholorship bis offered by the college. The college fee is reasonable so the the requirement of loan facility is not available but the management is good if there are any problems the management helps.
Campus Life
During the early years not many activities that took place but from last 2 years efforts have been made to for the extra curricular activities. The labs and sports activities are really good. Many opportunities are there for growth in the other fields.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is the best part of this college. There are 4 students in each room for the first year and after that 3 students per room are accommodated. The mess food is one of the downsides. Other than mess food the hostel is the best to live.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumini of the college are doing well in their respective areas. Every year out of 600 students 40-50 students score good ranks in gate exam. Apart from that the alumini have been really helpful in the past 2 years for the placements.
Exam Structure
The exam structure is based on old scheme. Two class tests are conducted in a semester and at the end of semester end semester exams are conducted the result is published based on the performance in class tests, end sem exams and teachers assessment.
Admission
There are two ways to apply for the counselling, one is through CGPET and other through JEE Mains. Candidates having Chhattisgarh domicile have to appear for the cgpet and students outside Chhattisgarh can apply using jee mains scores. I applied through jee mains.
Faculty
Most of the faculties are really good with what they teach. The faculties are always helfull to the students on campus and off campus as well. Because of less numbers of students in the college the faculties get to know the students in a better way and help them throughout the year.
