Remarks

The good thing about our college is that various opportunities are provided to students to make the best out of it. The thing that needs to be improved is the infrstructure and labs.

Entrance Preview

(JKCET-100 marks) I developed my interest in computer science in school time and that's why choose engineering to continue my further studies.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course structure is good but it needs to be changed according to the new technologies.

Internships Opportunities

For our batch, Only one company has arrived so far that is giving a stipend of INR 15000. Other companies would come in the coming days or months. But companies come every year and recruit students.

Placement Experience

Placements are very few in our college as not so many companies come. The average package remains near about 2.5-3 lakhs p.a.

College Events

Our college organizes one national level technical cum cultural fest and one management fest annually and students from various colleges across the state participates.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are various scholarships given to students who secures top positions in academics and also to financially poor students.

Campus Life

There are students from different regions of the state and also our college is free from politics, ragging etc. There are various clubs viz. literature, music and technical.

Hostel Facilities

At present, there is no hostel in our college. But pgs are available nearby at an average rent of Rs 5000.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

The atmosphere in our college is such that seniors are always there for the help in any way. Also each student is provided with a mentor who guides them that helps in personality development and career building.

Faculty

Teachers are highly qualified and are always there to help students.

Placement Experience:

In 7th semester student become eligible for placement. The companies visited are L &T for civil which is big company and select many students, jsw for mechanical and increff , paypal , microsoft, visa ,make my trip for IT and CSE

My best college

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements in 8th semester. Companies like L&T construction, Ambuja cement, tata , wipro, jio , Berger, infosys, IBM and many more visit the college. Highest package is around 17 LPA and average package is around 5 LPA . Almost 30 percent students get placement. My plan is to get off campus placement.

If the student has any backlog in any of the semester they can't sit in the college placement and also it has minimum criteria of 6.5 cgpa. The placement at my college are fairly strong, with a focus on proving opportunities for student in both technical field and non-technical fields. various reputed companies visit our campus for placement like TCS, infosys, and many more.The highest package aroun INR 40 LPA. the majority of the offers are for cybersecurity. The positive of this college is that the environment is academic friendly and there is a level of strictness maintained by the college authorities. Lack of modern infrastructure and absence of various general and academic facilities hampers the ideal college life of balancing the knowledge and enjoying the college time.

Review about Shri mata vaishni devi university

Remarks:

The university is situated in the Trikuta foothills and is 80 km away from the main Jammu city so one has to bear that because everything is not available sometimes. Electricity is 24×7 and the weather is awesome.

My college, the education mine

Remarks:

Little partiality with some students and once teachers find u little mis behaving, They start hating u And give u good marks, Not a good infrastructure and not a good campus view. Very much constrution needed. And very less courses Offered.
