Remarks
Positive comments can be about the good infrastructure and faculty. Not the best but really good. Negative comments I would say is how strict the attendance is. It does'nt allow students to grow apart on their own if they are willling to do something else.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is upto date with all necessary topics for getting us onto industrial standards once we graduate and ready to apply for jobs and placements in the field of what we have learned.
Placement Experience
As far as I know the placements in the college are average. It clearly depends on your skill and portfolio. But the college gives you enough skills to help you stand out of the crowd and be recognized.
College Events
There are plenty of events organized by the college associations. The fests are conducted by the student council with the help of the respective department heads. One of the main events of the college are Pratibha and Visages.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is pretty feasible. I wont say it is cheap but it is also not on the expensive side either. Most of the students would be able to pay. Comparing to other colleges what SJC offers is fair.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are plenty of government scholarships that you can apply for and the college also accepts loan. I have not applied or know any one who has applied. But i believe that there is a facility available for it.
Campus Life
There are so many extra curriccular activities to participate such as football, basketball, badminton, table tennis, cricket etc and also dance, music, choir, band and arts. The college has computer labs equiped with average computers.
Hostel Facilities
I have not opted for hostel so i dont know what the condition is like to live in the hostel. the hostel fee is around 8500 for a month which includes food and other facilities for students to entertain them.
Alumni/Alumna
The senior students are really helpful. there is no ragging in the college. I havent seen any alumni come to the college as of now but im sure that they will bring in couple of months for events and stuff.
Admission
First of all you should apply through the website for the required course and pay the fee. Give the entrance exam on the exam date and wait for the results to come. If you are qualified then you need to attend the interview. Once you have attended and cleared the interview you can pay the fee and collect you Admission slip/ID card.
Faculty
The college faculty is qualified and very polite and helping to the students. They provide you with all the necessary information that you need to excel in the subject they teach you and help you clear you doubts.
