Remarks

All good. You can expect wonders out of such economical fees. Wherein you get lectures from doctorates and highly educated professionals. College is a one time experience and Dyal Singh College is one to enjoy.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is vast and examination is semester based. It includes loads of subjects like economics, accountancy, english, other languages and business studies. It is ideal for those who are interested in business or job in commerce field.

Placement Experience

The job opportunities are quite less internally. However, there is lots of scope outside as private as well as government companies look for graduate students from Delhi University. Also, you could get placement in Accountancy firms etc.

College Events

The events plays an important aspect in our college. The art and culture society, also known as Rajneegandha.plays an important role in grooming an individual personality and build self confidence.You can enroll in various fields.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is quite economical as compared to the private institutes. My annual fee for the year was approximately 6500 INR. So, anyone can enroll if scored well in 12th grade.Delhi University provides ample opprtunity for studies and is quite economical.

Fees and Financial Aid

The loan facility is not available. However, concessions for Sc/ST and OBC's classess. However, the fees is quite economical compared to private universities and you get ample exposure. However, 600 INR is quite economical for any category.

Campus Life

A loads of extra curricular activities like sports, drama, arts, western music, tradional folks, western dance and folk dance. Along with clubs dedicated to english literature, socio economics and others.

Alumni/Alumna

Networking plays an important role in any environment. However, Dyal SinghCollege provides fair opportunity to each individual who is capable and has dreams to fulfill. You just need to be good at the matter. Thats all you need.

Admission

Merit on 12th grades. Also, if you have sport qouta or Sc, ST or OBC.There are concessions in merit list. Admission process may take 2-3 days and you wolud go through an interview if selection done through quota.

Faculty

The faculty is well versed who have doctorates in there fields. The attendance is very vital as it may impact your scores. The faculty uses all means for education like presentation, theory and pratical aspects.

Likes

The faculty members are supportive, knowledeable. Teacher explain concepts clearly and encourage student to participate in discussion
I like friendly and comfortable campus environment. student from different background intreact with each other
The college provides a good acedemics foundation and opptunities for overall development. being Part of delhi university also give student exposure to different events

Dislikes

some classroom and campus facilitues need improvement
placement oppotunites can be improved, esecially for student looking for better corporate exposure.
the evening college schedule can something be inconveibient because many acitvity and oppotunities are generally more accessible during regular college hours

Life at South Campus

Likes

The crowd at venky is great, diverse crowd.
The campus is well maintained and is one of the bests at DU.
Opportunities provided to students are great

Dislikes

The attendance policy is a little strict for 1st and 2nd year

The course provides a comprehensive image of finance and management, though after NEP, the curriculum seems a little irrelevent. The exams are conducted twice in a year, 2 sems per year, they conduct mid sem exams as well.

Shyam Lal College( Morning) Review

Likes

College is improving day by day teaching faculty is also helpful it recently got A++ NAAC credition as well
Overall college is good if you have good peer group.
Near to north campus so doesn't really feel much of headache if you want to visit regularly.

Dislikes

Shadara is not a good place to spend your college life.
Evening college crowd has made the reputation of the college bad.
Near by area is not safe for Girls in late hours.

Placement Experience:

6th sem is the first time college placement are proceeded . Companies are not impressive and mostly are entry level jobs such as cold calling and such which they offer. Highest package was 4 lpa and avg was 2.5 only. Around 60 percent students gets placed.

The online learning platform is easy ans simple to use students can acces lecture and assigments and study materials anytime
Faculty mambers provide clear guidance through online sessions and study materials they are supportive
They procides recording that was very usefull when we will not attend the live class

Dislikes

Since the classes are in online and also there are some techical issues while taking classes that will interupt classes
placement support is limited in online classes so students need to search for internships and job oppertunities on their own
Its deffecult to connect student coordinators while we wnat exam timetable etc they are too slow

I choose BCOM because the want to take ACCA after BCOM it will helps to improve my career and give a better job and also BCOM is the basices of ACCA like law, financial managment, taxation etc .The curriculam provide strong fountation for students who wamts to pursue higher studies such as M.COM , MBA and professuonal couses. BCOM helps to understanding real world bussiness practices , accounting sytem etc . on;ine study material recordimg leture and assigments also make flexible for students to study their own pace. exams are usually conducted semister wise the difficulty level 0of exam are moderate if students were attend the class regulary and prepare well

Faculties are best. They teaches you and create never ending bond with you.
Infrastructure is good but the area is small , the greenery is amazing and flowers are sooo sweetest.

Dislikes

No hygiene in canteen. Avoid eating from canteen.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is highly relevant notably the focus on real world applications and Advanced Financial reporting. It prepared me well for professional life. Improvement is needed in digital tool exposure.

i dont like any thing in this college

there is a green gaurden in my colleges old campus
we have a big ground in our college which i like i can play football there
they make an football ground in old campus which is good

Dislikes

techers are not good in teacing they just want to let it go the classes
my college was too small and the classes are not properly furnished for my class size
there is no place for sit in the shade or to make our mind diverted or have fun and the canteen is worst of old campus

i am from commerce background i want to do eco honers but in 12th i dont have mathematics so i cant then i decideid for b. com honers but i aloted the b.com program which is my 3rd priority umm i leanrd new things in my ncc and with my friends there are very less college activities to i dont know how to make my college life good and make some experiences they can make us travel with them to the real buiseness or any factory or a relay paper work from any company i want to do a camp in jab which is good for my ncc life but it is during my exams thats why i cant did that camp yet

i liked their faculty member and staff , they are played with students and taught as a friend
i liked canteen service and their foods it is hygienic but canteen infrastructure is not good
i liked their ground its have bollyball court basketball court badminton court and cricket ground also and they provide gym in college

i didn't like their campus because its not too much big
and college provide which lift service is not working properly
their bathroom is not too good and not too much hygienic

i choose bcom hons and all teacher are provide their 100% on their courses but neet to improve in practical exam because some computer not working and teacher teach students in one computer but there is no difficult paper according to time some time it's lengthy.

I chose it because I am a tabla player and music society is very good. The admissions are generally accepted to CUET UG examination. Pros and Cons of Dyal Singh College

Dyal Singh College comes under the University of Delhi this the admissions are done on the basis only CUET exam results. I had applied to other top Delhi University Colleges and some private colleges aswell however I didn't get very high marks in CUET and thus fell short of the cutoff of really big colleges but luckily I cleared this colleges cutoff and although I was accepted in a few other private colleges I chose this college as it offered not only great ROI but also a very active social life...Read More
