What Students Say

Likes

The faculty is very helpful and approachable and available when required
The computer labs are well equipped and accessible when required
Internship opportunity is very good and most of students do there scholarship in 3rd year

Dislikes

The infrastructure of college is very bad and small
No college life can be expected is college very strict for small celebrations
Not well equipped equipment to work withh

Course Curriculum Overview

Reason i choose this college was the autonomous which they got this year and and course is pretty good respective to now the subjects arent much relevent right now as I am a first year student and first batch of autonomous and we are learning things outside of our course which is good but some things arent relevent much and the exam timing and everything is good

Class Size: 68Course Fees: INR 101851 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internship oppourtunities seeing my seniors most of have a internship in there hand working it on ground and learning new things and while that managing college and internships simulataneously mostly students get there internship in 3rd year of college

Placement Experience

Placement of the college are decent and very good comparatively to the ROI this college gives. The avg package of 5 lakhs is offered per year and being the autonomous batch the avg package might increase on our placement but as of right now even being non automous the college placement are pretty good

Fees and Financial Aid

I pay around Rs.101851 as I am from Open category student but the student with category are provided Certain scholarship not just for the College fees but even the hostel fees which is comfortable for students

Campus Life

The college experience its not so good college is highly marathi centric so students from outside maharastra will same some sort of language issue and will take some time to settle and the college life is not good yearly one cultural event take place which is okay but other than there isnt much you can do in college.

Admission

I got this college through MHT CET cap counselling and this wasnt the college as my main target i missed the college by a little percentile because of the 2024 High cuttoffs i misread the situation and got this college but i got this completely throught the merit and the admission process was very smooth from reporting to college to start of college eveyrhint is pretty smooth

Faculty

Faculty is very good and approachable and friendly and always available to help and give future insights and help with alot of other things help in projects and course structure is better now after the college became autonomous techincally no mid sems exams but rather than that certain tools (i.e, Quiz, presentation, small unit test) are use to give us internal marks and then final end term exam.

Night Life

The location of college isnt in a very good place so there is not so much around to hangout or something but some decent pricing cafes are there where u can spend time but if you are hostel student you have a curfew timing of 9 so basically there isnt much of night life for u guys to experience

My perspective about my college!!

Likes

Such a huge campus and it is located not far from the city so bus and autos are always available.
Our canteens serves Misal Pav which is next level.
For a city like Amravati and a college like ours, having a tech fest is a dream but since 2022, we have been hosting a tech event called Techlons.

Dislikes

Crowd is not that amazing as most students are non-serious over here.

Placement Experience:

TCS trains us in the third year and L&T Infotech and TCS are the ones who hired students. Almost half the students were taken by these two companies with an annual salary of 6 lakhs or so. For a freshers to work in such companies is a privilege and I am glad, we get this opportunity at our college.

A Brief Theory Round Of Aissms College Of Engineering

Likes

The campus is quite big and there are proper laboratories for every subject , also the faculty is quite helpful and helps student to settle up and get along so that the teaching and doubt interaction is built up from the starting
We have metro station right outside the gate of college so the travelling is quite simple
It's also good to have a college stationary right inside the campus and with discount too!

Dislikes

The benches are small which kind off makes the students uncomfortable to sit for more than 2 hours in that space
Canteen hygiene is not maintained at all
There's no underground parking for students and lack of space for parking of two wheelers

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite good in Aissms College Of Engineering in comparison to the other one institute of Information technology. I personally have even saw seniors getting placements when they were in placement round room. And looking at all the boards the college has put up and I can definitely says that the college does get placements and companies do come

But I did not get the admission there here are few reasons of it. 1.The faculties at sb patil are not as capable as of MMCOE. 2. The campus placement offerings are not as much of the MMCOE. 3.The campus facilities like clubs student council are not available at sb patil. The admission process includes the cap round and CET score is considered for cutoff consideration. Also jee score can be considered for the admission. Overall admission experience is pretty tension free and this can be done in few hours....Read More
