Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum in IPU-affiliated colleges is fairly well structured and covers advanced topics for enginnering disciplines .The curriculum offers a broader understanding of the domain with depth in some specializations. Here in our college the students can easily bridge the gap between academics and indutry expectations.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 600000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunities in IPU-affiliated colleges are gradually improving, especially for students in technical branches like CSE, IT and AIML. Students have securely internships in companies like TCS, Infosys, and various other startups.

Placement Experience

The placements in my college are quite decent especially in top branches like CSE, AI&ML and AI&DS. The average package for CSE/AIML/AIDS ranges between 14-20 LPA. College also supports students with internship opportunities, placement training sessions and alumni guidance.

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fee for the program under the general category is approx. Rs.1,50,000 with the first year includding additional charges such as admission, development, lab, and caution fees.SC/ ST as well as OBCs students pay significantly reduced fees. Scholarships such as Merit-cum-Means and the state schemes.

Campus Life

My overall campus experience has been quite fulfilling, both academically and socially. The college offers a vibrant campus life with good balance of academics, extracurriculars, and peer interaction.

Admission

I chose this college primarily due to its affiliation with GGSIPU which is a recognized and reputable university offering structured academics, a decent placement record and affordability. It is followed by centralized counselling based on merit

Faculty

IPU college follows a semester- based structure with a total of 8 semesters in a 4 year undergraduate B.Tech program(Artificial Intillegence & Machine Learning). We have Internal assessment also called Mid Term Examination with Lab Projects. CGPA is calculated as per the University's standard credit weighed formula.

Interview Experience

No, I did not face any Group Discussion, Interview or written test conducted by the college by itself. The entire admission process was based on JEE rank followed by centralized online counselling conducted by GGSIPU.

Night Life

The nightlife around te college campus is great with all fest and fun withing the campus premises. We duely enjoy the arrangements and the invited celebrities. Most activities often is organised by group studies, club meets, or off- campus outings.

My overall Journey

Likes

Everything was good except placements.
Campus was so engaging , has a beautiful campus , one can get to learn a lot .
Faculties was from either IIT's or NIT's with good humor and knowledge.

Dislikes

Student has to suffer a lot during placements for students who are from Biotechnology .
No one takes responsibility , if a student is unplaced.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become elligible for campus placements.From top companies like google , microsoft to new startups like Raspa , Protium all companes visits , Highest package was 96 LPA , 40% students get placed , rest suffers , if one is from core branch then they get chances for PSUs and other organization.

Likes

Environment is good, the overall environment is calm
The hostel is good, it is hygienic and provides regular maintainence
The campus feels quiet safe and have good security with strict regulations

Dislikes

The network connectivity is not up to the mark
There are very less number of cultural events taking place in this college
Hectic study schedules which leaves no time for extra curricular activitoes

Placement Experience:

Placements of thos college is quiet good Many big companies provides internships and placements This year also quiet many students got placed TCS visited the campus for hiring Average packhage is 15 lakh per annum

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

Life at SRM.

Likes

A good and friendly environment on campus where students from all around nearby cities and states stay together in harmony.
Interactive classes and faculty is also very supportive.
The campus has all basic facilities from food to stationary.

Dislikes

The food may sometimes be not very good.
The campus has less places to spend some free time other than some spots.
Due to small academic hall places may look too crowded.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is really one of the the factors convincing everyone to take admission in SRM ,average package from the college is of around 10,00,000 which is really a very good amount in todays stresfull market.

I really like my college . It is very good college around the meerut

I liked the faculties of my college they are very supportive and helpful towards the students.
I like the curriculum which more learning based then theory

I don't like the attendence system of our college it very hectic to students
There is lot of focus on exam in my college which I don't like
Syllabus are not updated in our college we are studying very old things

Course Curriculum Overview:

I opted for this course because I want to be a software engineer. I chose my course because it was well-informed, and my interest was also in this field from the start. The faculty members and platform were also quite good for nurturing personal skills and making one a skilled and disciplined person in life. I wish this course would focus more on practical things rather than being theoretical. Events, fests, and the campus environment are also very good and pleasing to the eye. Connectivity was also easy from all around the world due to its location. Scholarships were also awarded to almost every student.

There are very good and highly qualified Faculties for each subject.
There is lot of clubs and groups which give exposure to the students.
Location of College is best in Greater Noida

Dislikes

There is little busy management and take time to respond query.
Highly busy schedule of college timings.
There can be delay in examinations from its expected date.

Placement Experience:

Placement in GCET is one of the good In greater Noida colleges. The average package of this college is 4-6 L.P.A. Companies like TCS, J.P Morgan, Josh Technology, L.G etc visited every year. Mass recruiters like wipro,infosys,capegemini also visited every year. About 85% students every year placed from the college. After getting degree my plans are getting very good placemnt from this college.

In my college placement is good and increasing every year as I have heard from s masters senior in past 4 days 1000 students have been placed and placements are still going on and there is a dedicated placement cell in our college and also skilled students can get upto 40-60LPA and average is 6-7 LPA and my plans after degree is to go for masters as I have intrest in MTECH too and 60-70% gets placement and it's still increasing and companies visit such as wipro hcl LG delloite etc

Likes

I liked the faculty here, they are well qualified and experienced
The way the faculty is trying hard with the students is very good.
Students are good here too they are cooperative with each other.

Dislikes

Library doesn't open after college hours.
Less events organised here in comparison of other engineering colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because i did diploma in computer science engineering so after that i chose to do BTech in cse for better opportunities. Here I am really learning some computer languages by which I am making some projects. Exams timing is they held in evey 5-6 months.and this is a decent time to prepare for the semester exams.

Unveiling Campus Life and Academic Excellence

Likes

Professer behavior is very cool and good
Classes is conducted in normal class in which some classes have A.C while some not
Campus area is so big in which staff parking and student parking is separtely available

Dislikes

College time is bad . It is same as school timing
Student must maintain 75% attendence to avoid detention in CIA
It does not give a proper break after semester exam

Placement Experience:

The placement is average as same as other college . It provide 6-12 LPA package for who have skills as market required The placement criteria for student is above 8 CGP and no backlogs in all semester My plans after getting the degree is to join a good company for a good life The percentage of getting placements is above 80%

A genuine review about the college

I chose this college because it's affiliated with ggssipu and the location. I also chose this college because of its placement reviews and faculty reviews. It also has great infrastructure. I applied to many other colleges our of station. And I get into them as well but this was the best option from all of it due to location and ipu. Beyond the classrooms: how JIMS shape students career.

The admission process is very simple. It is done on the basis of your jee rank for btech course. The admission is also done on merit basis based on your class 12 marks in pcm as well as overall. After the jee exam one needs to apply for the separate counselling for ggsipu admissions and then according to the cutoff and one's rank the admission is done. For merit based admission one needs to contact the college administration. I chose this college as it is near to my place plus it does not impose the uniform on students which is a big relief.
