Remarks
If you're not getting any government college then you can opt for it. Attendance is everything. You have to sit in even non-teaching classes and you will feel how it is to be in a place where they kill your time as you have killed it in your senior secondary.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our course comprises of every advanced technologies, new research etc. but only theoretical as the teachers are not much experienced and good enough in their subject material. Many subjects I passed I don't know anything about.
Placement Experience
They don't provide internships but have placement drives which is a joint placement drive in which students of some other colleges also participate and so don't look at the data provided by the university as that data is NOT all about students of Chandigarh University.
College Events
For every 15 days you will be attending an event in this college. CU fest once every year and fresher party for new students. 9x Tashan nites are there. Many Punjabi singers conduct programs for promotion.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is expensive compared to the quality of education they provide but feasible when compared to other commercial colleges. It's fee is around 80k for a semester. It's even worth of opportunities they provide.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are many scholarship schemes provided by college based upon your JEE rank and 12th results and government scholarship provided by different state government. You can get loan easily from any bank.
Campus Life
There are well equipped labs and labs are well maintained and regularly held. There are separate marking for labs and theories. Sports teams are also good and doing nice in their respective fields. College is maintaining them properly.
Hostel Facilities
I had opted for hostel in my First year but left later. Hostel facilities are actually not bad and neither is their fee. Infrastructure is quite good. Food also satisfactory. Hostel fee is 84000 for a student.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors are helpful but in this case they can not help you out as they too are not very well cleared about even the grading system and placement drives. No eve-teasing or ragging ever happens which provides a better environment.
Admission
I submitted 10th report card, 12th report card, Migration certificate, Character certificate, JEE report card. After reviewing they called me. They told me to submit 10k in the college's bank account as there were only few seats left which I found lie after my admission.
Faculty
Under qualified, Lack of experience. Faculties are under severe control of administration and hence can not take any decisions. They have to stand in class even if there is nothing to teach and it's a working hour.
