The atmosphere is very beautiful. A college on the bank of a beautiful backwater in kerala. In the evening it is very beautiful
Me being ans sports person and a dancer enjoys my college life very well when compared to others. And the college provides opportunities
Real life skills and others are taught in the class. The course are more practical than theoretical.

Dislikes

Tight schedule for east Campus which us part of our campus.
No breaks for east campus students. Over stress

Course Curriculum Overview

I feel in love with mathematics in plus two time. The coursee are more application based when compared to other. Out college being an autonomous college has good grip to keep up to the level of good education. Overall teaching methods and syllabus are very good. Frequency of exams are troublesome during the last time of year because all the programmes like youth festival annual day etc come together

Internships Opportunities

Course based tasks and projects are implemented and given to students to know about their know how and internship option ate provided accordingly. Different banks banglore and mumbai based companies also provide internship opportunities

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee depends because some people have reservation and theyll be paying less . I pay about 3 k for a sem. Different scholarship for girls and boys.. Specialy able children and caste based grants are available in the college.

Campus Life

Most of the depts have their own annual dept fest. Tandav for commerce. Artha for economics. Mantra for mathematics Brahma for botony Genesis for zoology. Comhar for the communication dept. Our college has one of the most beautiful of all the campuses in Kerala. Offering a wide range of books. Many sports team are active in our college like football Basketball Cricket Hand ball Volleyball Kabadi Karate.

Admission

I applied for st Albert's college ernakulam and SACRED HEART COLLEGE THEVARA. I got admission call from both thr colleges. But i selection shc thrvara because i felt when compared to Albert's college sacred heart provide much more opportunities. In both extra curricular and academy oriented. No exams are conducted for admission process and its purely on merit. All kind of merits Arts sports and academic.

Faculty

The faculty are very friendly with students in all aspects. May it be part of curriculum or extra curriculum. They are always with the students for full support. Our department has a bunch of good faculty who have showcased their talents in sports and arts. Dr lakshmipriya who is the statistics teacher of naths dept is a good dancer and Dr. Didimos k who is a maths teacher is a cricketer. Exams ate conducted in two semester with a gap of 6 months. In between two sems each sem will have 2 internal exams. Courses curriculum is very good with very low rate if students failing

Night Life

There js not mych night lufe except when the annual day occur. Gyms facility are available in our college. Most hostels have curfew after 9 upto 5 in the morning. Locality is moderately ok to travel at night. Most famous hangout places outside college includes panampilly nagar where there are so many food spots and inside the college there are stone park lake view ground etc

Excellent college with good academics

Likes

Loved the college campus and academic approach campus is very vast and diverse provide good classroom environment
Teachers are very supportive and friendly to every student there
Management of college doesn’t torture students like in the other colleges

Dislikes

I didnt like the place where college is located that much
I think strictness can be little less in academic
It need to improve in digital teaching methods

I chose bsc psychology because i just love to comfort others and tries to solve their problems our college curriculum makes us not only good in studies but also real life experiences in everyday psychological situations and how to overcome that kind of situation

Balanced campus life and quality of education

Likes

The teachers were suppourtive and explained the subject clearly
The college campus was clean ,peacful and had a good learning atmosphere
The library and other facilities were useful for students and exam preparation

Dislikes

No placement were there so students had to took jobs on their own
Some classrooms and laboratory facilities needed improvement
More extracurricular activities should be arranged

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum was well structured and covered the fundamental concepts in all details .It included both theoretical and practical learning ,which helped in understanding the subject better .Internal assessment, assignments and semester examinations were conducted regularly.The exams were of moderate difficulty and manageable with regular study.

In our college, along with studies it focus extracurricular activities. Each year definitely some people selected for mg university youth festival and they got prizes in participating items. Kolkali is highlight of our college.

Academic excellence in a beautiful campus

Likes

Academic excellence is there. 90 % of students are merit based admission, those who have achieved 90 and above percentage in 12 th grade. So there is high passing percentage.
Cultural programs are regularly conducted. Don't feel stressed out by studies

Dislikes

Sports activities are not regularly conducted or encouraged
Chemistry lab is not clean, chemicals are not kept correctly

Course Curriculum Overview:

My favourite subject is biology. I have applied for zoology course but unfortunately there is no seats available at that time, so I chose Botany which is also my favourite. The curriculum is perfect and prepares for real world. More practical sessions are needed. Every 6 months there will be semester exam. Which is not that much tough.

There is a thing that i don't like is that is the juniors can't participate in dance session for programs that occurring in our college. Only seniors are participating for it and also the dressing for some event are controlled by the Seniors. Buuutt
In college facilities there is not that much places for sitting during the intervals. That makes everyone bothered.

Fees and Financial Aid:

The course is available in private college therefore there must be fee. The admission fees for this course is 25000.and for those who take admission by management they want to give 50000.after that there is semester fees, which is 16000 for every semester.Our lab and tuition fees are including in this, exam fee we want to pay on the time of exam. In college competitive our course have a greater fee comparing to others. There is scholarship for the category's like SC, ST. Not know the exact amount of scholarship.
